Listener comments!

  3:47am
Gwilly:

Played at 33. Vai was 33. He's now 333.
  3:57am
Nat:

I wish I were still listening to Steve Vai right now.
  4:06am
Gwilly:

That's a very complicated thought.
  4:08am
Gwilly:

I've been listening to Billy Ocean all week. Kind of a test.
  4:13am
Nat:

Finally heard Kate Bush this week. Very bizarre...some guy was throatsinging between her songs.
  4:14am
Gwilly:

Didn't you listen to Kate Bush back in the day, then?
  4:16am
Gwilly:

What Kate Bush was it?
  4:23am
Nat:

I guess I did like Kate Bush back in the day! Dunno what it was...some tape. Received a donation of a full wooden cassette rack. Paula Abdul was in there too. Bunch of mixtapes that somebody made. Those shelves are beautiful though.
  4:25am
Gwilly:

Wow. Did you listen to all the tapes? I'm jealous of the shelves.
  4:27am
Gwilly:

Was there any Billy Ocean on there?
  4:31am
Nat:

Slowly working through em...never even heard of Billy Ocean though...what's it like? I hear you can get those shelves cheap through Church related distros - lots of churches archive on cassette to this day.
  4:37am
Gwilly:

Commune Cassetten! Billy Ocean was the fast man's Lionel Richie, slicker and more slack/mean. I'm off to church later then, thanks for the tip.
  4:40am
Gwilly:

Loving this... Psychotic Quartet

fashion:

nat i was listening tonight while helping move my girlfirend into her new apartment in bloomfield. while listening to some obnoxious noodley stuff on the way back to JC i told her that this has got to be some guitar instructor wank like steve vai. now that i'm checking the playlist i'm glad to see that i was right on the money. cheers.

  5:02am
Nat:

Yeah, Vai is so hilarious! How come guitar teachers have the worst taste? Like why the hell was I taught to believe that Stevie Ray Vaughn was one of the greatest guitarists ever?
  5:08am
fashion:

maybe because wes montgomery had color
  5:10am
Nat:

Ah yes, fatal flaw. Gotta love cultural cooption.
  5:12am
fashion:

now that i think of it, we should do an on air study one night of the jewish lightning ep's tonal non-conformity with the conventional rock music canon and it's departure into atonal methodologies of songcraft.
  5:17am
Nat:

Sure, and after that we'll describe in detail what we ate for breakfast every day in the Month of April.
  5:19am
fashion:

i'm down, but it may turn unlively for i don't eat breakfast, unless water and coffee count.
  5:54am
Gwilly:

EXCLNT Show Nat, thanks!
  5:12pm
zacharius:

notorrious, set looks great, will listen soon, thank the lord for the wfmu pop up player.
  5:13pm
zacharius:

  11:35pm
oizonoizo:
