  6:04am
Chuck:

There was no doubt, Andy. Morning!
  6:04am
Meghan:

Never thought I would cheer for jet lag.... but YAY!
  6:11am
Frank:

Morning Meghan!
  6:11am
Meghan:

Morning Frank!
  6:19am
Chuck:

I know what you mean, Meghan. It doesn't seem to stop these days...
  6:20am
Dave B:

did I win a fruit cup?
  6:21am
Chuck:

Just under the wire, Dave! Morning!
  6:23am
Dave B:

:-D

Didn't get home from New Haven until about 2am, so if you see a long string of characters like:

fggfgfgfgfggfgfgfgfgfgfgfgfgf

it's probably my head on the keyboard
  6:24am
Meghan:

*giggles* Morning Dave.....
  6:25am
Chuck:

At least we won't have to hear any snoring!
  6:26am
Dave B:

heh!

Morning gang!
  6:26am
Meghan:

At least we are all on the same page today!
  6:27am
Andy in Berlin:

You got THAT right.
  6:28am
Chuck:

Alas, kids, I must go and load my pickup and start up to Syracuse. I'll listen to the archive when I get back. See ya next week!
  6:29am
Meghan:

  6:29am
Dave B:

Ciao Chuck!
  6:32am
Andy in Berlin:

have a good trip
  6:33am
Dave B:

Now if ever there's a singer I enjoy attempting when i go karaoke-ing it's Mr. Rawls...

"you'll never find...
duh duh da da duh
another love like mine..."
  6:42am
Meghan:

I usually try to avoid the Karaoke thing all together...
  6:42am
Looms:

Hello Megnan!
Midday here. And tired of that dirty and cold weather. It's supposed to be spring, isn't it?
  6:45am
Meghan:

Ohhhh, it was perfect over here yesterday.... but looking a little gloomy out today. Which is fine by me since I plan on going home and napping! hehe I'll wish some warm sunny weather for you!
  6:51am
Dave B:

with a developed resistance of ethanoll, karaoke can be kinda fun...

;-)
  6:51am
Looms:

Thx! Wish the same to anyone (and rain for those who need it). Lovely show so far.
  7:03am
Dave B:

and "pooped"!
  7:05am
Dave B:

@Andy - if you're still in town tomorrow, you might enjoy this:

  7:08am
gumby:

For mothers day "I'm a Mother" by the Pretenders is a lovely little diddy.
  7:10am
Dave B:

I'll still campaign for Legion of Rock Stars version of Danzig's "Mother".

And if that's to deep into left field, I'll settle for the original served with the cheese platter
  7:12am
kath:

I slept late!
  7:13am
Meghan:

Cause you were TIRED!
  7:14am
gumby:

"Mama didn't Lie" and "Mama said" would fit nicely in the soul/R&B set
  7:16am
Meghan:

Nice ones Gumby... I might now have Mama Said stuck in my head for the remainder of the day.....
  7:17am
Dave B:

Count backwards from 10, 9, 8...
Your eyelids are getting very heavy
7, 6, 5...
You are feeling sleepy... SLEEPY!
4, 3, 2...
when I reach 1, you will be fast asleep!
  7:19am
kath:

I am sure I have a Danzig CD in my stash....
  7:19am
Dave B:

Mama Told Me (Not To Come) - Eric Burdon's version, not Three Dog Night
  7:20am
Meghan:

Don't be putting everyone to Sleep Dave! Especially ME!
  7:20am
kath:

First course cereal; second course COFFEE!
  7:20am
Dave B:

I'm the cereal killer!
  7:21am
Dave B:

That's why I never said the last number Meghan!

:-D
  7:24am
Meghan:

hehe.....
  7:24am
kath:

So the other day while scrolling thru the channels I happened upon one of those commercial shows for Soul Train. Wow! It was great to see clips of those great groups, holy cow on the attire and monster fros!!
  7:26am
Dave B:

Just let your SOUL GLOW!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktl6L3ZwvL4
  7:29am
Meghan:

Kath, I think VH1 had a docum. on Soul Train recently. If it wasn't them, maybe PBS..... I am sure you can google it...
  7:29am
gumby:

I'm so tired, tired of waiting for The Kinks
  7:31am
Dave B:

Meghan - pursuant to "The House That Ruth Built" discussion it seems the original was built in 1923

I prefer curling myself, but its hard to keep that ice frozen in the heat of summer.
  7:33am
kath:

Scary days of the jeri-curl!
  7:34am
Dave B:

Although during 74-75 season, the stadium was remodeled. So technically, Babe "did" play there.
  7:35am
kath:

I have sucha love/hate thing with Dean.
  7:35am
Meghan:

Ahhhhhh that is good to know..... thanks Dave. Needless to say, they tore it down, so there goes the history and legend....
  7:37am
Dave B:

@Kath - the scene in "Coming To America" with the Soul Glo stain on the couch is the best.

And with Dino, is it a "I hate that I love him" or "I love that I hate him" sorta thing...
  7:39am
Andy in Berlin:

this version of So Tired is making me sleepy
  7:40am
kath:

eeww on the stain, the jeri-curls were pretty gross. I'd rather the fros came back, really back. As for Dino, I like his singing and easy manner, vocally, but I hate that his creepy, swaggery, smarminess comes creeping through.
  7:41am
Parq:

Somehow I'm thinking this isn't what Gumby @7:29 had in mind.

Coffee in six minutes.
  7:42am
Meghan:

hehe.... Morning Parq! I know.... just happens to be what I had in that set.... It's coming, I promise!
  7:44am
Dave B:

"easy baby... 15 schnitzlegrubens is my limit"
  7:48am
kath:

Time to wake the sleeping child. I know she will be sooo tired today. she was up too late watching Man-vs-Food. Gross, I know. She wants to be in a hot wing eating contest.
  7:50am
eric:

I'm finally here. After forgetting my belt, running shoes and then getting to work only for my area to be locked and no one else be around! Geez and I forgot it was Thursday!!
  7:51am
Meghan:

Ohhhhh that sounds like a hard way to start the day! Hope it changes! At least you made it!
  7:51am
Dave B:

@Kath - I know she's older than this, but I laugh every time I see this:

http://ringchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/waking-baby-300x300.jpg
  8:01am
Dave B:

w00t!
  8:02am
eric:

So I asked this at the end of last week....carry over! Meghan, you saw Ride? That's cool.
  8:04am
eric:

My concert story for the week is seeing Yo La Tengo at Sudsy Malone's here in Cincinnati. Sudsy's is a bar, concert venue and laundromat...that's right, drink, watch bands and do your laundry!
  8:05am
Meghan:

Yep! I saw them..... hmmmm was that 1992? I think it was. It was Ride with the Pale Saints.... Such a good show. Oh, a place to do laundry and see music?! That sounds like excellent multi tasking....
  8:06am
EElwyn Chow:

Hey Meghan, dave and andy,

I'm listening while ordering a kebab. Did I make it in time for the punk set tonight?
  8:07am
Meghan:

Hey there Elwyn! Yep, you are in time, haven't done it yet.....
  8:10am
Dave B:

@Elwyn - g'day!
  8:12am
jeff p:

this theme is not helping this morning....
  8:13am
Meghan:

  8:17am
Dave B:

This week - Peter Gabriel at Radio City on Sunday, Inside/Out on Tuesday, Mike Keneally Band/Bryan Beller Band in New Haven yesterday, and a friends 50th up in Wakefield R.I. on Saturday!

  8:17am

  8:17am
Ken From Hyde Park:

  8:18am
jeff p:

  8:19am
Meghan:

awwww poor Jeff....
  8:19am
Dave B:

@Jeff P - another band from the great white north that would work:

The Diodes - Tired Of Waking Up Tired
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxJ89h8AkFA
  8:23am
Maestroso:

Meghan, is one of your turntables missing the left side? The Wilson Pickett only had right, but your voice has both, and so does this current song.
  8:24am
Meghan:

Yeah, I am noticing that the entire show actually.... It's something I have to let Scott know.... it's the board....
  8:25am
Jim Mac:

Hey Meghan - Jim (and Maureen) from Chris J's wedding this past summer - like the show!
  8:26am
Dave B:

I like the voices in the background. Sounds like someone loaded a mellotron with samples of "OOOH" and "AHHH"
  8:27am
Meghan:

Hey! Thanks for listening! Glad to see you here! Almost a year since we last met!
  8:31am
Elwyn:

It's only 10 pm here and aren't going to bed til 2 am. I'm not remotely tired yet.

Woohoo! Neil and the Kinks in the same set!
  8:43am
Dave B:

HANK!

This'll get your lazy bones moving.
  8:46am
jc:

  8:46am
Meghan:

  8:47am
Jim Mac:

  8:49am
Dave B:
