Beautiful freeform mix Jason, loving it... and the Taiwanese track was especially interesting. Perfect choice ahead of Taiwan's annual Opium Suppression Movement Day (June 3 - everybody replenish your opium stashes in time for the holiday!).

On Saturday night I saw the Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars in a little Providence dive bar -- no cover charge, 100 happy people who had "discovered" the unadvertised gig. My weekend was made! Wow!!
  10:37am
Rob W:

How cool! That's great. I guess they're hanging out up there for a few days, maybe recording? (Although they just did a new cd.) They have a festival gig in Burlington VT next weekend...

Oh hi Rob! I think I wasn't supposed to name the band -- I meant to say I saw the "The Big Five" -- yes they are here "on vacation" before Burlington and Europe. Even their forays into reggae were good...!
  10:55am
William:

Are you in possesion of the entire TJ Hustler record?
  10:55am
texas scott:

that baptist movie was entitled "A Thief in the Night".A hilarious religious scare film from the early 70s.
