Sounds from the archive of the future, sonic drilling into the past, dissonant rumbling, lyrical melodies, noises (human, animal, mechanical, digital) inscrutable yet honest, desultory but consistent.

postmanpaul:

I like it.
  9:21am
postmanpaul:

Perfectly complementing my..... gin 'n tonic and this leetle cheroot, David.
  9:31am
David:

Don't forget your vitamins.
  9:32am
still b/p:

G&T and cheroot replaced rum as daily British ration for mariners and mail-carriers?
I hear a reworked Little Deuce Coupe...by the Brighton Beach Boys:
It's my little che-root,
With my alternate grog..!
  9:33am
Bad Ronald:

Good morning everyone. Still smokin and drinkin PostManPaul? You rule!
  9:37am
mick:

good morning all....
too early to drink here but i guess it`s spliff o`clock just about now.
my first time listening to this show : excellent stuff !!
  9:45am
postmanpaul:

I'm not bragging still b/p, so don't put me down!!!
I have to admit, us southern mariners are a little bit choosey when it comes to an after-flogging resuscitation!
  10:09am
Cecile:

YAY! Love the Tall Dwarfs.
  10:18am
bennett4senate:

puttin some baileys on my cereal, getting ready for on hold / automated menu hell
  10:32am
Cecile:

My Friday is me grumbling over a terrible scrape I got yesterday on my knee that is oozing and itching and I need to find a frickin' aloe plant or something.

You asked.
  10:38am
Cecile:

but the weather might be lovely today, and I had a deliciou double espresso.
  10:38am
coelacanth:

i'm here.Thank you David. ...must tell my father about that baileys in cereal thing! probably better for him than the nestle coffeemate crap he puts on his oatmeal now.
  10:41am
Cecile:

coal, UGH. Is he doing non-dairy creamer? if so, why not just vanilla soy milk...
  10:44am
Cecile:

David, what are your plans for this weekend?
  10:49am
bennett4senate:

david, today I'm writing To Whom It May Concern letters to big state institutions b/c bureaucracy prevents them from changing my record over the phone. then I gotta go outside, definitely
  10:53am
David:

Going off to visit old friends upstate. This will likely involve swimming in a river. We will probably see hippies there.
  10:53am
seang:

Yoko and Fridays just feels right
  10:53am
coelacanth:

he's a stubborn ol' mule who's a slave to his sweet tooth -and instant gratification.Thanx for asking.... 'sorry about that scrape.you may know this already, but goldenseal root will fight infection & maybe stop the ooze too.also, colloidal silver may do it- and it's not an endangered plant (as g.s. might be)
  10:55am
Cecile:

thanks, coel. I'll look for that or 100% aloe gel or even a plant.

Thanks to the intertubes I also learned that 1" the peroxide I used to clean it probably irritated the wound, and 2: the clear stuff is the body's way of healing.
  11:05am
coelacanth:

David how far upstate? i dont know what a hippie is,or what one looks like...but i heard they left (but I think they died)...Cecile -re:#2-true,but it also usually indicates some fighting of infection. also,if you do get the silver, consider "amino acid research"brand (i think) -it's 500 ppm-c.$40.-most brands are 5-10 pmm for around $30. i dilute it w distilled water (1 in 4 ratio) and it lasts forever.
  11:09am
Cecile:

thanks, coel!
  11:09am
coelacanth:

those children are adorable!
  11:15am
bennett4senate:

so this lady is an icelandic prostitute, right?
  11:16am
Sigurjon:

She's not really a prostitute, she just dresses like one.
  11:22am
Cecile:

Leoncie is just really odd. Like a female Armand Schoenbrouck or however you spell it...
  11:30am
Ike:

Hey all. Hey Cecile, Trader Joe's has good, inexpensive aloe vera.gel without junk in it like silly artificial colors. But beware the addictive cookies and the dark-chocolate-covered pretzels.
  11:30am
david from ks.:

,,,,,,wobama iz the son of perdition, damn! it was such a nice thought,,,,,,first brown president n`all! scuze me for breakin into youguyz`z key business, iwas just keying out loud,,,peace and good luck,,,,,,
  11:32am
Cecile:

thanks, Ike!
I like Jewel of the Desert's 99% aloe vera gel, but it doesn't work like 100% or an actual leaf...
  11:37am
HARKLESSovTEXAS:

,,,,,,Whose God is in their belly,,,,,,
  11:42am
jason:

dont call leoncie a prostitute! she USED to be a prostitute, but i dont think she is any more. sure, her former website now sells sex toys, but i dont think that is related to her i think she just let the domain name expire

...killer show David!
  12:01pm
Cecile:

this is hypnotic and beautiful, David
  12:03pm
David:

Maybe next week I'll play some of his early stuff, which is very different but also great
  12:20pm
Cecile:

where is Mr. Bryce?
  12:38pm
Mike East:

I'm going to say he's incredibly late...or maybe this is just a very long excerpt
  1:02pm
Ike:

He's busy preventing demons from eating the FMU transmitter. They were spawned by Celine Dion and sent here to terminate free-form radio. Only Bryce can defeat them by head-butting them with his unusually-shaped head. That's my guess.
  2:13pm
Inga:

All Icelanders are Prostitutes. Both Male and Female.
Prostitute is a Breakfast Word, every day in Broke Iceland. All icelandic children call their parents prostitutes, and icelanders are eunuchs and paedophiles. That's their icelandic sport. Therefore Iceland is a prostitute country and LEONCIE is an Indian Born Singer Composer. Don't Be jealous! Don't be Racist! Man! Let's Have FUN!
Listen to SEX CRAZY COP!
  2:21pm
Sigurdur:

We hate Leoncie because she is far too talented than our icelandic singers. She does not take any money from icelandic government and yet she is unstoppable. Terribel Indian woman she is.How can she sing and compose in so many languages when no other Icelanders can do it, We are Superior to this Black Indian Woman who can do all this Music.Where does she get all this talent to play all these intruments. She is Black Indian.Indians are black Rubbish! White Icelanders are the Best!!! Ja! Ja! Ja. Alltaf Bestir i Heiminum!
