Listener comments!

  12:11am
Paul:

This track is tight. Neu.
  12:25am
?:

therese, my cat rosemary, who usually ignores the sound coming out of the stereo entirely, perked her ears up pronouncedly at the sound of your voice, jumped out of my lap, and is now sitting in front of the left speaker staring up at the cones worshipfully. no kidding.
  12:25am
coalhard:

starting a new listener comments is hard---like a weed eater-first you have to squeeze your bulb--then you want to choke it a little bit--a good string of vinyl is imporntant too--this show whacks the hell out weeds and leaves the flowers intact every week
  12:26am
dan in Falls Church VA:

...oops, forgot to put my name on my comment about my cat
  12:27am
dan in Falls Church VA:

there's coalhard chiming in right after me again....with a great gardening metaphor in praise of the show!
  12:28am
Therese:

Thank you Coalherd! Thank you Dan, and thanks to your cat!
  12:30am
dan in Falls Church VA:

...yeah, now that you're not talking any more, and sonic youth is on, Rosemary's just nonchalantly licking herself. she is really into your voice, i swear!

  12:40am
Paul:

So is this a taste of Animal Collective? You know they're so trendy I never gave them a chance before now. Panda Bear is a member of that right though?
  12:42am
osvi:

Panda Bear always picks up the party. Pre-Party to your beats in the Best Coast, T. WFMU rules...
  12:43am
dan in Falls Church VA:

i get it! Reppirt Yad = Day Tripper backwards! do i win a prize?

yup osvi, panda bear is part of AC
  12:47am

  12:47am

  12:51am
smirn:

  1:06am
Baltimore Paul:

"Field Recordings of Inuit Folk Songs" would be a good band name lol
  1:07am

  1:07am
dan in Falls Church VA:

  1:26am
(mta) Tony:

PAUL: Don't leave Therese's show, but write this down for future reference regarding Panda Bear (if you're not already hip to it) give a listen to Avey Tare and Panda Bear's (appearing as "Animal Collective") song, "Alvin Row." It's my favorite and an absolute must have. It appears on the album, SPIRIT THEY'RE GONE, SPIRIT THEY'VE VANISHED. Hope it means as much to you as it does to me. As usual, thanks to fmu for the original turn-on to this classic tune. Pardon me if I spoke about things most listeners already know regarding Panda Bear.
  1:27am
coalhard:

JUST MAKE SURE YOU PUT SEAT DOWN!!
  1:28am
Baltimore Paul:

Alvin Row. Got it. Thanks Tony.
  1:34am
(mta) Tony:

You're welcome, Paul; I LOVE that tune so much!
Hi Therese; great show. Love your voice, too.
  1:42am

  2:07am
dan in Falls Church VA:

coalhard, did a dryer fall out of another truck the next day?
  2:10am
coalhard:

no--but a bag of russet potatoes fell of another truck--but we couldn't get the russet off--had to throw out
  2:21am
coalhard:

me and dan are like laurel and hardly keep his eyes open
  2:21am
musikoff:

It is PERFECTLY NORMAL for a grown man to dance Congo style at 2:30AM, so excuse me...
  2:33am
