Listener comments!

  9:07am SmokinJ:

Top o' the mornin' bb from the land of cold beer and loud bikes :)
  9:10am Jack:

Light 'em up! SmokinJ is in the house!
  9:11am SmokinJ:

Mornin' Jack!
  9:11am Hollis:

nice mellow opening as always .. oops where is my horro kaftan? ooh there it is underneath my rock.
  9:27am SmokinJ:

THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!
  9:30am Duffy:

"What Reason Could I Give" -- very cool forward-looking, cascading vocal track from that Ornette Coleman's "Science Fiction" LP. Nice to hear this bright and clear sound unexpectedly on this Saturday morning.
  9:32am Hollis:

Bristol U.K here but still souding bright .. and clear :)
  9:35am jamief:

that background music from Claus Ogerman and His Orchestra sounds soooo Booker T and The MGs Bob....should have let it run...it's just too good as backing stuff...keep up the great work :)
  9:44am SmokinJ:

Happy Birthday John!
  9:46am winston:

Hey cool show. I'm headed to the beach to go surfing right now. Any chance you have some surf cuts you can play for us?
  9:57am moldymind:

anyone go to the swans show last night in brooklyn?
  10:00am jamief:

cheers for that Bob...excellent
  10:01am moldymind:

heavy, extremely loud and bordering on chaos, in short everything you would want from a rock and roll band... best show ever... punishing... makes nine inch nails sound like nursery rhymes
  10:18am Lewis:

John Hendicks on vocals?
  10:19am Lewis:

ah yes, now I scroll down = very cool!
  10:33am Jack:

Debut albums! Great idea, Bob, do it!
(and don't forget Spirits' first...)
  10:42am SmokinJ:

bb: It seems like whenever I listen to entire discographies of an artist I'm always impressed that I like the earlier work of the act better than the later stuff. Guess I'm just nostalgic ;)
  10:48am Jack:

SmokinJ: I tend to agree. The first couple/sometimes few albums are an artists best. I call it the "they died in a motorcycle accident syndrome" ( ala Dylan )
  10:49am SmokinJ:

Great case in point! I remember when "Can't Buy A Thrill" first came out. It became an instant standard for evaluating audio equipment 'cause it sounded so good.
  4:37pm Big Kid:

Hey, thanks for playing our song!
