Sean Daily:

Corn weenie?
  1:00am
Doctor B.:

You don't need a USB turntable (those thigns are kind of cheap!). All you need is a good turntable, a good cartridge (try the Grado line) and a sound interface for your computer. Good ones are pretty reasonable these days! Add sound editing software (the freeware package "Audacity" might do the job) and you're in business!

Oh, Buzzcocks rule!
  1:01am
david in denver:

thanx fer the broken heart
  1:03am
pingy:

Cal-Neva Lodge! Blast from my past!
  1:09am
Therese:

Pingy- I LOVED the Cal-Neva! It was long past its prime when I was there, I can only imagine what it was like in its heyday
  1:15am
dancing tony:

is there any substitute for a 45 adapter ? really what would mcgiver do ? I've eyeballed a couple of 7 inches, but only to near disastrous effects. anyway I love this format ....two singles after midnight which one of you wants to go steady ?
  1:16am
Therese:

Tony! Flatterer!
  1:18am
muvva:

Done great wish you a happy birthday dj
  1:20am
pingy:

well.....I'm not THAT old! I was just a kid in the mid-70's when we skied every weekend close by, and Cal-Neva was a place for the parents to go and get the hell away from the hordes of kids. We all loved the overblown rumors, like ghost stories.
  1:24am
Therese:

Oops! Didn't mean to imply that you were a contemporary of the Rat Pack! It was more of a general wistfulness!
  1:27am
pingy:

no offense taken! the 1970's were a very hip time in North Lake Tahoe! spring skiing in bikinis, anyone? love your playlist
  1:49am
Yair Yona:

  1:55am
Doctor B.:

What can you say about a record fair where there's a lot more going on than a bunch of record geeks (like myself!) plowing through bins of old vinyls? WFMU Rocks!
  1:56am
Therese:

Good morning Yair!

See you at the Fair, Doctor B!
  2:47am
(mta) Tony:

Careful what you say about the MTA; I may raise your fares again. (ha!)
