	4:04am Rob W: Just to add a little b/g to a couple of earlier posts: Newgrass actually is a pretty commonly used term for artists who root their style in bluegrass conventions but add elements to the mix not typical to conventional bluegrass - different instruments, borrowing from other genres like jazz and rock, adding long jams / improvs and song forms not typical to bluegrass. The concept dates back to the early 70s (the band New Grass Revival featuring Bela Fleck - who is hugely popular today as a solo artist - and Sam Bush, among other notables, started up in 1971).
