Listener comments!

  2:43pm Billy Jam:

Greetings from chilly Jersey. Photo on top of playlist taken recently out in Flushing, NY site of the World's Fair. Am planning on having an upcoming show where the playlist will contain numerous photos that include this WFMU sticker - and would love to have YOU participate - by taking a photo with this WFMU sticker in some location and sending it to me. To participate simply email me (billyjam@wfmu.org) with your snail mailing address and I will send you out one (will take a few days to a week) and then if you can take some pics of the WFMU sticker in your neck of the woods (chose the best one) and send back to me via email or FaceBook (as some including Wheeler Antabanez have already) and then I will post here on a future playlist. Cool? Questions? Hit me back here in comments. Thank-you for listening to and supporting WFMU - the only station that matters at this stage in the game.
  2:57pm filmchickie:

Greetings Billy! I would love to participate! I'll e-mail you!
  3:03pm northguineahills:

  3:06pm DJ Stef:

I gave my copy of this Pumpkin 12" to Buck 65.
  3:07pm Billy Jam:

Hey Stef - That was most generous of you ---and that record is the single that Dave Paul so famously had on his outgoing tape on his answering machine for years
  3:10pm CheriPi:

I will get a snap of WFMU in Japan this Spring. Or in my domicile with various cats.
  3:11pm Billy Jam:

great Cheri PI - that would be so cool - and, depending on the response to this - figure it could be an ongoing thing
  3:17pm Plastic and Round:

the purpose of this record....................hold it.....
  3:20pm Mike East:

That sticker is currently attached to my fridge at work. Now to figure out how to put the fridge in front of the window to capture the view of Jersey from my office....

  3:22pm Billy Jam:

As Bryce and everyone else here on WFMU has been saying - THANK YOU - so much to everyone who pledged their support two days ago during the WFMU mini-marathon during Station Manager Ken's balloon themed out the back parking lot show. We got a lot of much-needed financial support but however did fall short of our goal -so we do need additional support now. Go to the homepage of WFMU for details on how you can pony up your support for WFMU. Thank-you in advance.
  3:24pm Julie:

I need to find my sticker and take it to TX with me for Xmas. I hope the studio is warmer than it was last night. I had to wear my winter coat. Brrrrrrr
