Scott:

Hey thanks.
  9:53am
fred:

Hi Scott, and happy new year!
Hey, thanks for this Terry Riley cut! I love it. I first heard it a few months ago as the soundtrack to a series of videos. The films were OK though not up to the hype about them in my opinion, but the music was amazing. Is that still available from somewhere?
  9:59am
Josh:

you are ruining my birthday and making me regret ever donating to wfmu.
  10:00am
fred:

Those three videos were by Oliver Payne & Nick Relph. Overhyped, but still worth seeing.
  10:00am
Josh:

Seriously. This is no good. Please stop it now.
  10:02am
Josh:

Why oh why on this day of all days.
  10:06am
Cheri Pi:

Happy Birthday Josh!
  10:10am
Scott:

Fred: not sure if it's available - don't think so - but I would try Cortical Foundation directly.
  10:18am
KT:

Josh, one reason people donate to WFMU is for the diversity and allowance to have music wide open. If you dont like it, just turn it OFF. Proud donor to shows across the board here. I appreciate the DJs' aventurousness, ear, and total inability to stick to being confined to what other radio dictates.
  10:22am
fred:

Yeah, I tried that but they say it's sold out. And the few copies available on the web sell for way too much for my taste. I might consider it if the markup went to Riley, but that's not how it works.
Hey, thanks again! I really love this TG release! For the record, this isn't Throbbing Gristle, though there was once a funny mixup about this: he and they were playing on the same day within a mile of each other, and I had a conversation about going to "that TG gig" with a couple of guys where it took us about ten minutes to figure out we were not talking about the same TG. I think the telling moment was when they complained about the price of admission
  10:23am
Brian Turner:

Hey Scott, I'm trying to call the studio, can you please check your email scottm@wfmu.org and write me back when you get a spare second?
  10:27am
Scott:

Wrote you back, BT.
  10:31am
Brian Turner:

Fred, check midheaven.com - their inhouse label has reissued some of the Riley Corticals, but not sure if they did that one. Cortical is pretty much finished from what I understand, but some of those titles have been getting the rerelease.
  10:31am
Josh:

Keep your knickers on KT I was kidding.
  10:37am
Richard:

Happy new year scott. Greetings from Venezuela.
  10:39am
Scott:

Happy new year!
  10:41am
bennett4senate:

hi scott I'm listening
  10:42am
fred:

Thanks Brian! They do have it but only as a mp3 download, I don't know if I'll go that way but midheaven looks like a great resource. I will have to investigate this site further, but if you recommend them it's a very good sign indeed.
