Listener comments!

Billy jam:

Woody !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally you are on the air.....there are 23 exchange students that I tutor at the Russian Cultural Center here on 76th St. who have been waiting and are ready to dance to your music selection. I told them you were the best dance DJ on WFMU. So don't let em down now. "Anything with a crazy disco beat" as Ivor says will work for them. Thanks a lot Woody!
  12:11am
coalhard:

i sample about 80 internet stations (mostly college) per night--WFMU--always wins hands down--REMARKABLE!!!
  12:14am
Woody:

Uh-huh Billy Jam.... I put on Gorilla Aktiv, and next some BDP.... and then we bust out the Scelsi and Eliane Radigue!
  12:16am
Billy jam:

Ivor says "Spasiba Mister Woody"
  12:35am
Ike:

  12:36am
Woody:

  12:40am
Ike:

  12:41am
Woody:

  12:44am
Ike:

Uh? Eep?
  1:02am
osvi:

  1:03am
Julie:

  1:11am
Woody:

  1:16am
Marmalade Kitty:

That Slits track really is TOP! "So Tough"!!!! Like any perfect Album opener, It leaves you wanting to hear so much more! Classic!!!!
  1:24am
Ike:

Woody, I like the lamb from the Famous Halal Guys. I *think* they have four carts now, incl. one on the SW corner of 53rd & 6th *at night only*, and one on the SE corner (most times, day and night). The impostor (which has its partisans/fans) is at the SW corner during the *day*. Confusing....
  1:26am
Woody:

This is an outdated post, but maybe helpful on validating your halal chicken on 53rd and 6th:

  1:29am
Marmalade Kitty:

skewered mice kebab and rice..?
  1:33am
fleep:

mice are not halal, try denny's
  1:33am
Ike:

Ha! I was just about to post that link. Also this one:
http://tiny.cc/trinipak
There are lots of good ones on 6th in the 40s. And Little Morocco at the NE corner of 39th & 7th is not bad. And Maoz for falafel with excellent pickled red baby eggplant.
  1:37am
Woody:

The Trini Paki boys were closer to my old work so I hit that place more times a week than I care to admit to. Actually my favorite cart overall.... skip the boring halal stuff and get their curried goat!
  1:42am
Woody:

That's it.... uber-shitty versions of Jump and Fascination scary everyone away!
  1:50am
Emile:

Nice set Woody
  1:52am
Ike:

Yeah, groovy show.
  2:10am
Marmalade Kitty:

  2:18am
Julie:

  2:19am
Woody:

It's radio. I can't *show* anything!
  2:21am
Julie:

Oh come on, Woody, you're not one to let the limitations of the medium stop you!
  2:31am
Nazerbean:

Very nice evening of music, once again... Woody in 2011 is better than ever! ;)
  2:34am
Woody:

Not as good as in 1998 when I was really on top of my game.
  2:41am
Nazerbean:

You're so humble... what's so great about '98?
  2:49am
Woody:

I kid, I kid.

Live for today!
  2:51am
Sam:

Everything was better in '98, let's face it. This millenium has been a huge disappointment so far.
  2:52am
Woody:

The internet kinda sucked in 98.
  2:54am
Sam:

Exactly my point. Who needs the internet anyway? Remember reality? I miss it.
  2:55am
?:

I'm going to google reality
  2:56am
Woody:

Back before the internet, when everyone was doing acid? :)
  2:57am
Sam:

Yeah, now you're talking. All acid all the time.
  2:57am
Billy jam:

Thanks for another great show - Woody - good nite!
  3:00am
Nazerbean:

So true... The last year I did acid. Gnight!
