He produced hits by The Shirelles, Elmore James, Lee Dorsey, Gladys Knight & The Pips, King Curtis, Spoonie Gee, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, & Doug E. Fresh to name a few. Bobby Robinson WAS the direct link between Rhythm & Blues and Rap music. Sadly, he passed away on January 7, 2011. Tune in to hear what Bobby heard!
