  4:12pm Tamby:

Hello Terre. Great show.
  4:14pm marq:

boy i tell you what. once again the people from the hudson valley stereotype the people from vermont. so ignorant
  4:14pm Skirkie:

"Live Free or Die" - New Hampshire
  4:35pm SueP:

@marq - Seeing as Jerzians are one of the most stereotyped, I'd think you'd give 'em some slack ;)
  4:38pm Mike Sin:

I'm quite happy that Terre T is back doin' it live!

(But I do miss sitting cheek-to-cheek with Sue P., though.)
  4:40pm SueP:

Yr here with us in spirit, Mr. Sin.
  4:42pm Terre T:

Thx SO much for fillin in the past 2 wks, Mike! Those show wr gr8.
  4:43pm David Shortell:

I never knew a power-pop group named themselves after that flop Jules Feiffer play!
  4:59pm marq:

I think people from Vermont relate more to people from NJ than Mhatan area folks. But the bleed over spills to people in upstate NJ sometimes. they think people up north are hicks and even blob us in the same group as people in the southern united states.
  5:05pm Skirkie:

I just Wiki'ed it.
  5:09pm marq:

ok. but what really makes me mad is the people from out of state that come up here and think that they are free and willy because they think this is hick land and anything goes. they go 100 miles an hour on the interstate thinking there are no cops or something just because there are a bunch of trees and no buildings to see. we read about it in the paper all of the time. some dumb flatlander thinks he is invincible from the cops because he is from NYC or NJ.
  5:10pm Mike Flood:

Some of you may be too young to remember Foster Sylvers who fronted the soulful 70s family act, The Sylvers. Foster Sylvers was Michael Jackson's only serious competition in the 70s. Foster, now 45, is a registered sex offender after being charged with oral copulation with a minor.

According to The Panache Report, Foster is one of the thousands of sex offenders listed on a national website connected to Megan's law. Foster's new status means his contact with children - even his own - is very limited. And he must register within 72 hours with the local authorities if he moves.

  5:10pm Listener Jumpy:

So now you ladies are drooling over a 9 year old boy...
  5:12pm SueP:

@marq - I totally get yr point and I don't doubt what you say. I personally love VT and fantasize about moving to the Green Mtns to get away from the NYC egos/crazies.
  5:22pm ScottC:

Zeros! I used to see them all the time in SF back in the day.
  5:30pm Mike Sin:

I love Vermont as well and fantasize about living there with Sue P while she bakes cookies and I chop wood in the back yard... all while obeying the state speed limits in my Mini Cooper.
  5:32pm Skirkie:

Everyone in the NYC area loves Vermont (it seems) I have two friends who are spending the weekend there right now, and one who is moving there this year.
  5:36pm Topkat:

Hi Terre, SueP and all...
long time since I've posted anything here...the system has not killed me yet, so I'm still in the game 100%!
Takin' a 5 min breather...moving snow at my house and neighbors...I only have my roof left to do (prevents ice dams, dontcha know) Terre, did you receive the RAB X-mas discs?
I'd luv to check out VT sometime.
Cheers!
  5:40pm Terre T:

@Mike Sin - That's MY fantasy, too!
@Topkat - Haven't seen any discs yet but haven't checked the mail in a few weeks.
  5:46pm Topkat:

OK Terre,
you probably have a wheelbarrow full of mail to sift through.
SueP...if you were baking cookies in VT, what kind would they be?
Gotta get back at it outside, sun is goin' down quick.
Bye
  5:50pm SueP:

all kinds o' cookies: choc. chip, gingerbread, pignoli, oatmeal, you name it!
  5:53pm Mike Sin:

"Model Village" is on the Penny Peeps/Noblemen CD? I think my copy only has six tracks. You didn't pull it from the "Insane Times" CD?
  5:55pm SueP:

@Mike Sin....I've corrected...thx!
  4:04pm Creepy Old Guy:
