Beaks and bills are the same on a bird. In the financial world, beaks and bills are different.

a few birds with "bill" in the name: Red-billed Pigeon and Pale-billed Woodpecker come to mind immediately. There are also grosbeaks.

answers dot com says beaks can be used for anything from birds to turtles to dinosaurs. but bills are only for birds. but beaks of course can be applied to birds as well since it is a general term about all beaks in species. yes. squid have beaks. but they have a bill when you order calamari at a restaurant.
