  1:15am
Kenzo:

Joe's show has been perfect music for going through the smattering of misplaced points on the marathon map (how'd Highland Park wind up in Saudi Arabi??) and moving them where they should go!
http://wfmu.org/marathon/map.php
  1:16am
kiemzi:

mike noble in dc:

THE BIRDS is one of my favorite plays...
  1:18am
Matt from Springfield:

@kiemzi: FUNemployment! I didn't like when they referred to this as a "FUN raiser" on the front page--because I use that term when you go to a fundraiser, but don't give money! This is serious! Give your FUNDS if you haven't already, people!
  1:19am
Mr. Jinks:

Joe loves meeces to pieces!
  1:19am
Wendy del Formaggio:

Aww shucks, thanks! Funky Fräuleins is perfect for me for so many reasons: German popular music, disco, women singing in a language I don't understand! Thanks, Joe!

  1:38am
mike noble in dc:

wfmu is marching off to war!
  1:39am
Matt from Springfield:

@yair: holds sandwich up to computer monitor. Well not really even that...
@Mike Sin: I love Joe's Single File! I gladly support him for embodying REAL free-form! He's only ever had a theme once or twice!
  1:40am

  1:44am
yair yona:

it is.
  1:45am
Matt from Springfield:

Awww, the ARCHIVES!! That's half the (already very high) value of FMU!
Did you know...I actually first heard of Joe in Fall of 2009, some months after I started listening to this station online, when I Google-searched for some obscure song, don't remember the exact one, and I saw a WFMU playlist with a song by that artist. Who else but Joe "Funk" McGasko!
  1:46am
Matt from Springfield:

I didn't catch Joe live so often then, he was still 3-6 a.m., but he quickly became one of my favs. All these FMU shows are great, but Joe's entire show I tried to listen in Archive every week. 12 to 3 has made it easier to comment and enjoy LIVE.
  1:47am

Mike Sin:

A $15 pledge gets you in the running for the book "Perfect Sound Forever"!
  2:10am
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

I'm going to go out and purchase this book. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Giving to WFMU is money far more wisely spent than that of tuition towards my university education. True.
  2:10am
Julie:

Make Amanda work! call 1-800-989-9368
  2:12am
Joe McG:

You'll love it, Adam!

  2:25am
Julie:

Love with WFMU is not unrequited! They love you back!
  2:26am
Joe McG:

I haven't seen that one, Adam! Do you know if it's Netflixable?
  2:27am
Julie:

WOW I think I need to dance now
  2:30am
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

I think it is, if memory serves, but the print is very rough. The version to watch is the Eureka Video release, but I think it might only be out in PAL/region 2 format, so region-free player might be necessary. I'll check Netflix now.
  2:31am
Brian in UK:

Mornin' Joe, just 'bout to make a second pledge. Is that Amanda from Doug's show on Friday on the 'phones?
  2:31am
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

Also, Eureka lists it as Funeral Parade of Roses.
  2:33am
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

Not on Netflix, but I think I picked it up brand new for less than $20.
  2:34am
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

Thank you, Julie. Love you all.
  2:37am
Julie:

Yep that's our Amanda!
  2:38am
Brian in UK:

Good work everybody in the back room.
  2:38am
Mike Sin:

75 or higher gets you one of Joe's premium plus puts you in the running for the grand prize -- 6 LPs from Mike Sin's collection: Raspberries, T. Rex, Utopia, Rascals, Knack, Mott the Hoople!
  2:46am
Brian in UK:

Thanks for all your work this year, Joe. Shame 'bout the time change cause I have to listen to the early parts on archive. Ofcourse that is one of the stunning parts of FMUs appeal that it is all there at the press of a button. Along with the search facility. So there is no reason people not to pledge NOW.
  2:48am
Brian in UK:

Just copped a copy of Willie Wright. Thanks so much for hepping me to it Joe.
  2:49am
Joe McG:

My pleasure, Brian!
  3:01am
Brian in UK:

The story doesn't end.
