  1:24am
Elias:

INTO THE VOID!
  1:24am

  1:26am
Joe McG:

Did anybody see "Into the Void"? What did you think of it?
  1:26am
A:

Or it's Geddy Lee singing hardcore.
  1:26am
cheri:

joe you have no comment on which group is better??
  1:27am
Elias:

Bill Ward is one of the funkiest drummers ever. He's the master.
  1:27am
Joe McG:

Love 'em both, Cheri!
  1:27am
Steve L:

A: You read my mind.
  1:32am
Elias:

Oh my. I didn't get the "Thai Dai" thing until you just said it, Joe. I will pretend I didn't hear it.
  1:35am
Elias:

Ah, Wayne Kramer. The man behind one of the finest guitar solos ever (Looking at you).
  1:36am
Joe McG:

I couldn't agree more with you, Elias. The original A-square version is possibly my favorite rock record of all time.
  1:40am
Steve L:

I miss your sad Virginia whisper
  1:41am
Elias:

I can't believe how much that album got messed up when it was "remastered".
  1:41am
Joe McG:

I just watched the Ian Dury movie, which I hated, so I watched some YouTube videos of the Real McCoy, and couldn't get that very line out of my head all week.
  1:41am
Chop Scott:

JOE!

Impossible to turn off the radio...
  1:42am
Steve L:

I'd rank this Ian Dury among the top rock albums ever, but frankly, it always stood out on its own, so it seems a bit pointless.
  1:44am
Joe McG:

Chop Scott! Great to see you during the marathon! I agree, Steve, "New Boots" is its own class.
  1:45am
Steve L:

Chop: Totally screwed. Up all night. Thanks Joe.
  1:45am
joe d.:

MCG! you are killing it tonight homeboy!
  1:45am
kurt and irene:

This song is so gagagagagoooood!
  1:46am
Elias:

This bacon sandwich is so gagagagagoooood!
  1:47am
Joe McG:

Hey, Duff! Thanks, man!
  1:55am
Joe McG:

So, did anyone like "Into the Void" the movie? Just curious.
  2:04am
Steve L:

Didn't see Into the Void, nor can I track it down online. Details?
  2:05am
Chop Scott:

"Into the Void"--interesting, but without modern drugs a headache excercise. Just saw "Buitiful"---very solid film, excelent sound design.
  2:16am
Joe McG:

I had the same reaction actually. Steve L, it's kind of a head trip movie--a drug dealer dies (we think) and his mind sails over the various things that happen after his death with his friends, sister, etc. Mixed feelings...some stunning visuals, but overall, really unsatisfying as a film.
  2:21am
kurt and irene:

goodnight evewryone :-) see you around
  2:22am
Joe McG:

G'night, Kurt and Irene--thanks for dropping by the ranch.
  2:34am
Christina:

Hi Joe! Me and Kirsten are here listening to your show! Very awesome ...
  2:38am
Joe McG:

Hi, guys! Thanks for sayin' hello! Glad you're liking the show.
  2:51am
helen:

thanks for that last one.
  2:52am
Joe McG:

You bet. Sorry I had to bleep the "fuckin' John Updike" line.
  2:56am
Joe D.:

This show has been damn near perfect. Kudos.
  3:00am
Christina:

Thanks for playing the Bee Gees cover earlier! Kirsten requests the rest of the CD next week ...
