Physical collections? Not really. Never really anything more than books and music.
During a research project: I collected tiny pollen granules of blueberries -ones I thought looked cool under the scope. Fantastic looking structures. And dozens fit into a small vial. Mistakenly trashed by a lab mate or maybe the prof ? Shoulda taken pictures instead.

I used to have a collection of "classical Greek pottery;" all the diner take-out coffee cups based on ancient designs. There were over a couple dozen different ones. Sadly, tossed 'em out during a move.
