  10:06am
fred:

  10:16am
dc pat fc:

nope, I forgot I had a friend's birthday shindig to attend.
  10:17am
JMD:

Crazy! At first I thought this was a slow version of Pages Turn by 28th Day.
  10:17am
dc pat fc:

..by the way, it's REALLY expensive to drink at the Black Squirrel. I think they're republicans there anyway...
  10:20am
BSI:

The Squirrel blog seems to suggest as much. I still dig the place, it's mellow (more often than its neighbors) & better beer selections than many. Or at least, it's where I first tried Lagunitas Hairy Eyeball on tap, etc..... Don't get over to 18th street much these days...
  10:24am
yayson:

excellent soundtrack for the day today
  10:27am
fred:

@lucas: thanks, but I need some sleep, so I'll let my show-going streak end at 14 days
  10:31am
dc pat fc:

Beer selection was good just expensive as feck.
  10:43am
yair Yona from tel aviv:

Every track is a killer, Liz, thanks!
  10:43am
fred:

I think I need to see if I can get away with listening at work. Either that or take every Monday off. Is there an applicable religious/medical exemption?
  10:43am
BSI United:

DCPFC: Agreed... Then there's always $3 pints (including the good stuff) at Lou's (new place columbia hts) on wednesdays. AND footy on the tube.
  10:46am
Lucas:

@Fred: you should try. Use a psychological-happyness-productivity argument
  10:53am
fred:

@yair: I saw a cool band from Israel two days ago, lietterschpich. I don't think a lot of people liked their music, but I don't mind being in the minority.
  10:53am
Skirkie:

Glen Jones played Nancy Sinatra yesterday and I immediately thought of Liz Berg because of this music bed.
  11:03am
Carmichael:

Mornin', everyone.
  11:04am
Dave B:

greets! FMU'RS
  11:15am
fred:

Good morning Dave!
  11:16am
yair Yona from tel aviv:

@Fred, where did you see them?
I know them, I am a friend of the their frontman. Cool band. You should look for their twin project Poochlatz and their stunning band from few tears ago Voltures
  11:22am
pierre:

Bonjour Dave B
  11:24am
fred:

@yair: in Paris, France. Arnaud Rivière had met them when touring Israel and brought them over for the Sonic Protest festival. I spent some time chatting with Zax, this guy is so cool and interesting. I'm definitely planning to check them out further.
  11:36am
Chris from DC:

Wha? Bush Tetras? Where was that again?
  11:37am
Liz B.:

Z'Ev, Bush Tetras, George Lewis, Peter Gordon & Love of Life Orchestra @ The Kitchen on Fri.
  11:42am
Chris from DC:

Wow, not a bad bill.
  11:52am
Ike:

  11:56am
