	5:31pm Robert: Charlie, they were to perform that night in Brooklyh, and they should've taken the opp'ty to not only sound good (which they did), but look good, to draw in the swells. The drummer looked positively WORRIED!
	5:32pm jaycjay: Yep. And I know that means I'm missing out on some good stuff, but usually when I'm listening I'm also working. Something will catch my attention and I'll want to know what is, but there's a good chance I'll be distracted when the DJ comes on and won't hear. So I have to see.
	5:33pm jaycjay: That's not so big a problem with the archived shows, because I can jump around and find the set breaks, but still... I don't often do it.
	5:35pm Robert: And Charlie, don't give me anything about matching their tone. I've seen punk bands do entire sets that were basically about being shit in a shitstorm of shit, and they smiled afterwards.

	5:39pm Robert: And the funny thing was that at that time the worst thing they could think of to accuse each other of was being "poseurs", when it's obvious that's exactly what the audiences wanted.

	5:45pm Danne D: LOL Love Charlie's Idea - may have to try to figure out how to make a Keili-Irwin two stream mash-up work :D As far as comments getting stricken - I honestly consider it the DJ's show and if my comment is inappropriate or even if it sucks or whatever and it goes bye-bye, oh well. I'm more sanguine than some in that regard I guess. As far as shows lacking comments, again I think it's dealer's choice. Some DJs see their show as sort of a piece in itself perhaps and maybe think the boards pull it off focus. Others may just want to focus on the DJ task at hand and not have to juggle comments (and monitor them). Others maybe haven't had the chance to take the time or figure it out. Others may have had a bad experience. It's clear to anyone that I love the comments boards (perhaps a bit TOO much) :) but sometime it's nice to kick back and listen and not think of manifestos like this to type :o)

I'm more sanguine than some in that regard I guess. As far as shows lacking comments, again I think it's dealer's choice. Some DJs see their show as sort of a piece in itself perhaps and maybe think the boards pull it off focus. Others may just want to focus on the DJ task at hand and not have to juggle comments (and monitor them). Others maybe haven't had the chance to take the time or figure it out. Others may have had a bad experience. It's clear to anyone that I love the comments boards (perhaps a bit TOO much) :) but sometime it's nice to kick back and listen and not think of manifestos like this to type :o)
