Saw Mary Gauthier in the week performing 'The Foundling' at the Foundling Museum in London. Very moving, she is in the process of working it out and has left songs for us to mull over and absorb. Very moving evening. A powerful performer.

Then I remember an article by one of my favorite writers Mike Royko - Chicago newspaperman. had a great article about the beauty of love and marriage to combat all the Charles and Diana haters going on way back when. On the small chance anyone knows his work it was moving and touching, from such a surly dude.

@Parq, yeah the Belushi stuff was excellent, although his defense of Nelson Algren( guy who wrote Man with the Golden Arm) probably tops it all. Showed such keen insight into immigrant communities I still think about it today.
