"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

  7:06am

  7:10am
hamburger / london:

sunrises are so overrated... just some glowing beams of light .... :D
  7:13am
postmanpaul:

Yeah me too, and the zesty morning freshness is a buzz. Take a nap at lunchtime and you wont feel like a zombie by 9.30pm.
@ h/london you risk a druid curse on your winkle :)
  7:16am
annie:

naps just don't cut it with me, it's all or none in the wakefulness field.. if i do nap, it's an alpha state thing for two minutes, very refreshing..
  7:18am
annie:

... and i don't miss anything either
  7:19am
postmanpaul:

@ h/london assuming you've got one.
  7:31am
hamburger / london:

a curse? not sure... might look on ebay for a quick-fix-repeller
  7:33am
maja:

@pmp, i'm from holland, what's 'a druid curse on your winkle' ?
  7:45am
postmanpaul:

@ maja - hamburger/london's druid curse on his winkle is retribution for speaking irreverently! It's not very nice.
  7:56am
maja:

lol! pmp just checked the urban dictionary for winkle.
asking silly questions is my middle-name, btw john is my coffeemug on it's way by now?
Stll waiting for the goodies over here.
  8:01am
rst-wiley:

aka 'periwinkle'
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_periwinkle

Enjoying the early morning music. The leopards jolted my awakened state, possibly timed w/ a caffeine kick-in.
  8:08am
hamburger / london:

neat track :)
  8:08am
Nooms:

Hi all.
Greatly enjoying this soft boys track!
  8:10am
postmanpaul:

This is a very enjoyable compilation of tunes JA, thanks. I'm lucky to be able to listen to a playlist like this, at this time of day and 'work' all done too! Going down very well with another cuppa and a dubious cigarette. Fithy dirty habit.
@maja - haha! while acknowledging rst-wiley's shrewd observation, I would like to add that in Holland that would be your Van Winkle.. :)
  8:30am
john:
