  9:24pm
Nordstrom:

Great show Martha- Michael here in the thick, buggy air of Burlington VT. Had a great weekend, capped off by very pleasing & much-needed living room rearrangement/deep cleaning; feng shui has improved 63.7%.
  9:30pm
BSI:

baah, it pains me to split so soon after things get going. But this old body needs to start making gutteral subconscious barking noises whilst having visions..... Cheers all.
  9:31pm
ratbone:

ahh... crunchy music
  9:31pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Prizehog sounds awesome. Another band to check later.
  9:32pm

  9:35pm

  9:42pm

david in denver:

nice version of somebodys gonna... i listened to the rezillos last nacht...
  11:05pm
Ira:

The actual original of "Someone's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonight" (Spencer) – 2:58 ~ full-length version...That was Jeremy Spencer of Fleetwood Mac. The band was called Earl Vince & The Valiants. I am pretty sure it was the Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac recording under a different name
  11:10pm
Richard from Venezuela:

is this from a Flourishing new full length? . I discover the EP thanks to your show. The band sound is killing for be a power trio. I will check this out.
  11:15pm
Martha:

Hey Ira - thanks for the info - didn't know that - and don't know as much about Peter Green Fleetwood Mac as I would like to either -
  11:16pm
Martha:

Yes - new great full length CD out now -
  11:19pm
blacktooth:

thanks for keeping it so diverse! that's your ultimate weapon as an fmu dj, and you are using it wisely.
  11:23pm
Martha:

Thanks all -
  11:26pm
dave:

i love this whole tuusanuuskat album. even the packaging's great.
  11:32pm
jim:

This is awful
  11:33pm
dave:

in the language of jim's people "awesome" is frequently abbreviated "awful".
  11:35pm
jim:

These shoes rock!
  11:36pm
Martha:

Well, you're not likely liking this either - think of it as a tour through musical history -
  11:40pm
jim:

Resident's singer w/ Iggy Pop's band. Not bad!
  11:41pm
jim:

Hey dave, remember our excellent adventure?
  11:47pm
dave:

i think fangs of... might be from australia, hence the superfluous "U". at least the we empty rooms label appears to be from down where the water drains backwards.

fangs of... have a pretty much inexhaustible supply of zany album titles at will with that band name.
  11:48pm
dave:

i retyped that comment like 3 times and still ended up mangling it.
  11:51pm
Martha:

Tuusanuuskat approximates "total shambles" in Finnish, for accuracy there -
  11:52pm
Martha:

Ah - Australia - makes sense then - I guess we (e.g., the USA) have squeezed Canada enough that they have dropped that extra "u" - or maybe it was part of NAFTA -
  11:57pm
Bryan:

I studied gamelan in java a few years ago and at Northern Illinois University. Quite a shock to hear it here. I certainly doesn't sounds traditional.
  12:00am
Martha:

Thanks all again for the good words and checking in w/ info, etc. - much appreciated - have a good week -
