I love Fountains of Wayne (and your session with them was great), but I wish someone had told Adam or Chris, whichever one wrote this song, that "Cracker BARREL" does not actually rhyme with "Will FERRELL." (Also, thank God it's not literally true that Ferrell has ever had 40 movies playing at the same time!)

Your 1st statement you are saying that wish someone had told Adam or Chris, whichever one wrote this song, that "Cracker BARREL" does not actually rhyme with "Will FERRELL" - but youre being sarcastic - which means saying the opposite of what is true - but then you let us know that you aren't dumb (you do this by saying you are dumb) - so you're a bit hard to follow - an honest question: What did you mean by your 1st post?

	11:53am Randy in NC: re. The Incredible Casuals, I never knew that anyone ever covered College Girls. Written by a local from these parts, Terry Anderson who also wrote Battleship Chains. His band is The OAK Team (look 'em up) and also The Yayhoos.

	12:45pm Peter: Michael - I agree those are 3 very good songs, (and not heard enough). That being said, they aren't "In My Room", or "Lonely Sea", or "Don't Worry Baby". If the Beach Boys put out -nothing- but "In My Room" and "Don't Worry Baby", they would still be one of the most important bands, ever. Not so with those other songs, however good they are.

	12:47pm drr: One of the great strengths of the Beach Boys was singing about really simple things they seemed to care about (songs like "Airplane" and "Cool Cool Water" for example) but I also like the them with a bracing dose of overthinking. The "pretentious" direction was a good one at the time.
