Listener comments!

  12:07am
Frisson:

What blasphemy awaits!?!?!
  12:20am
Wolfie's dad:

Love it! Not usually up late on Monday listening to WFMU. What a treat. Listening on the internet from MN. Haven't heard King Diamond's voice in years. Real cool.
  12:23am
DrTeeth:

OMFG I love DumDum. I remember when Ken would tease it after 7SD way back when, but the idea of it scared me... then the good Professor sat in for Ken & Andy one day and I was an instant fan. Streaming from Las Vegas!
  12:23am
Jim Morrison:

My songs are being used as a voice-over bed for demon-worship. Well, I *never*!
  12:24am
Audio Engineer Society of 'Merica:

Great Merciful Fate, but there's a weird phase/open-mic effect during the all-important mic break.
  12:28am
Herr DD:

I heard a strangeness in my voice and I am trying to determine why - I shall be troubleshooting here but any suggestions are welcome
  12:39am
Shocked:

Your voice sounds strange??? Wha...???
  12:41am
Traditional DJ Advice:

When in doubt, blame the prior shift!
  12:41am
Audio Engineer Society of 'Merica:

It's gonna be hard to peg the meters with "Niiiiiiiine" with this phase effect. I blame those WFMU DJs... The problem with volunteers is you can't fire them.
  12:42am
Jesus:

Buddah preceded *me*!
  12:45am
Listener:

I love that "down a deep well" effect you're using tonight!
  12:53am
Audio Engineer Society of 'Merica:

Bad Sound Toubleshooting:
1) Open mic in studio
2) Studio monitors on/too loud
3) Master bus/Monitor bus flipped (or both on)
4) Output of one channel bussed to input of another channel
5) Previous DJ dripped mustard from Sugar Coated Satan Sandwich in mixing board causing short circuit
  12:55am
Listener:

6) Sucky old equipment.
  12:56am
Julie:

I don't think it's any of those, except perhaps the latter.
  12:57am
Listener:

Bingo!
  12:59am
Audio Engineer Society of 'Merica:

The equipment didn't get that much older since the previous DJ, who didn't sound half this cheap. I believe if we all just conjure Satan with all our might, he will fix the problem for us all and save the show from Jesus.
  1:00am
Julie:

It doesn't sound weird to me in the library
  1:01am
Listener:

Jason did sound somewhat cheap, though, you're saying?
  1:01am
Julie:

does it still sound funny to you guys?
  1:02am
Listener:

Sounds better now, sounded "down a well" before...
  1:04am
Julie:

Probably the mic then and not the board. The WFMU elves have been notified. Even though they are sleeping.
  1:04am
hoe of joe:

professor sounds loud & clear to us
  1:05am
Julie:

although funny it went wacky between Jason and the Professor
  1:09am
Julie:

wow he sounds REALLY good on this mic
  1:13am
Audio Engineer Society of 'Merica:

Must choose between a bad mic/channel and no dump button? Can't we wake up Satan's little helper elves now? No rest for the wicked, etc.
  1:18am
Elves:

The good old days of just makng cookies didn't involve 1AM text messages.
  1:18am
Julie:

maybe we have insomniac elves, but chances are the mic needs to be swapped out and I am not enough of a techie to do it.
  1:22am
Audio Engineer Society of 'Merica:

Microphones are easy: Point the bulbous end at the performer (or Dum Dum, as needed). Are these elves unionized or something?
  1:40am
ManGod:

If I hate albinos, does that make me racist? Please tell me, Professor!!
  1:45am
ManGod:

Shave your head & show the world your noggin
  1:57am
ManGod:

why isn't anyone participating in the CHAT???? What if a shaved man who hates albinos went back in time & aborted Jesus From Mary's love box?
  2:00am
Resident Eyeball:

That would be awesome.Kill all the white pple, then we be free.
  2:02am
ManGod:

Hey Resident Fool: There are Negro Albinos too & most whites are not Albino. You learn in trees or something? Maybe you understand this: Click Click, umba-Gooma. Click Click.
  2:05am
ManGod:

Resident Eyeball: If there were no white people, no one would be paying taxes for your welfare, food stamps and Access cards. Who else is gonna push you through life like we do so you can do your murders and rape your women & hardly work?
  2:12am
Resident Eyeball:

Mangod,Chill out,I guess sarcasm doesnt carry well over the internet.Besides I have a good job.Hauling shoppin carts outta ponds & tree's.I take'em & fix"em up & sell'em right back to the mall.
  2:18am

  2:37am
King David:

We want to hear,"Can You see my eyes? Can you see my eyes? allright,I know & you know, that my eyes are...DEVIL EYES!" what a treat that would be.
  2:49am
NightfallGuidesInsomniaToBeEverlastingMentalTortu:
