Listener comments!

  3:06pm Jay/ London:

very good start :)
  3:08pm Jay/ London:

hey like the picture are the people thinking they can now swim without hats on lol
  3:09pm efd:

Prairie Prince is criminally overlooked in most discussions of great rock drummers.
  3:16pm pygmy delyte:

the tubes aint bad shit kick things off with, always liked the Mondo Bondage-album (and that´s it basically..)
  3:17pm fred:

Cori, are you around? How did the interview go this week?
  3:34pm hamburger:

quite liked that tubes track - never heard of them before
  3:39pm Marmalade Kitty:

Hi Mike, good to hear you!
  3:40pm pygmy delyte:

aha, sorted things out.. my lp-player broke down years ago, havent heard it since. First album called The tubes, with White punks on it? (doing it oldschool, cant be bothered to Goog)
  3:42pm Marmalade Kitty:

I've got a feeling we're going to be spoiled rotten with tunes tonight..
  3:51pm hamburger:

I agree with MK - holy sheet that Ivan Julian was amazing
  3:52pm tomB:

Wait, we're still on the 1st tune.... Tubes perform @BB King's, NYC 8/22. As I understand it, Trey Sabattini is filling in for Prairie Prince. But Prince is otherwise still active w The Tubes. PS @hamburger, Prairie Prince has performed w your namesake, Neil.
  3:55pm nick k:

love this station amazing rock....
  3:56pm fred:

Don't sulk it if didn't go your way Cori, it should have. I hope you're out partying instead, but I'll be sulking for you otherwise. Until Keili's show that is, no sulking for me during her show
  3:59pm pygmy delyte:

agree with nick k, found this gem-of-a-radiostation about two weeks ago and listen allt the time.. excellent stuff, and it beats any radio, anytime in sweden!
  4:00pm Mike Sin:

Thanks for listening everybody! I appreciate the comments.
  4:01pm hamburger:

woa, from wikipedia about Neil Hamburger: In August 2010, Hamburger appeared on the Alternative Stage at the Reading Music Festival in the UK, where his entire set was booed and derided by the capacity crowd, with chants of "You're shit and you know you are!". As the set progressed bottles and other projectiles were hurled at Hamburger, before he was finally shouted off.
  4:02pm nick k:

mike sin, should be mike savior, saved my day....
  4:13pm Frenchee:

He *does* make the day special...
  4:17pm efd:

Nick Gilder! Whoo!
  4:30pm Frenchee:

the Grateful Dead, woo-hoo!
  4:31pm keef:

this is the dead???? this is cool
this shows drugs are bad!!!
  4:31pm pygmy delyte:

loving the dead! great band, really
  4:32pm tomB:

Truly the best Dead Lp. On a whim I bought this remastered vinyl. My best purchase on Record Store Day.
  4:34pm pygmy delyte:

seven and seven, never thought of that before, but you may have a point, nice..
  4:34pm efd:

Thanks Mike! You're in! Wrong Words are also playing at Bruar Falls tonight, and in Philly tomorrow night!
  4:36pm (mta) Tony:

Sorry, I tuned in late and missed the beginning of Mike's discussion on early Seger System availability, but if it's any help, each of the "System" albums have been officially released on CD; I know, because I bought them all (Back in '72, Brand New Morning, Mongrel, Noah, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, Seven, Smokin' O.P.'s, Early Vol. 1, etc.). However, they were only available in Europe. As always, I'm happy to share 'em.
  4:36pm ?:

  4:37pm efd:

Sweeney Todd!
  4:40pm (mta) Tony:

Sweeney Todd (from Canada) is correct, Nick Gilder's first.
  4:56pm pygmy delyte:

@mike: Twilighters, what year is this?
  4:56pm pygmy delyte:

  5:00pm Frenchee:

Hey Pygmy, sorry about that, was mixing the drinks...
  5:06pm pygmy delyte:

no rush, take your time as long as you keep the music! and no rush as in no rush but-maybe-a-passagetobangkok liveversion, cheers!
  5:15pm tomB:

Thanx for Super Session; perhaps overated then, but underated now.
  5:20pm Danne D:

Yay Mike Sin :)
  5:25pm Danne D:

Yay Dennis Diken with Bell Sound :)
  5:27pm Frenchee:

Mike' Dennis Diken CD is all autographed 'n' stuff...looks v. cool
  5:28pm (mta) Tony:

  5:28pm Frenchee:

  5:30pm Danne D:

  5:44pm tomB:

@Frenchee: caught you channeling Gaylord again-- soulstice
@Mike: thnx for details on both Gene Clark &L.Banke. Anyone who can should attend that show (everyone else go see Dennis, he knows everything about the recording of every song)
  5:46pm Frenchee:

I absolutely cannot help channeling Gaylord
  5:47pm hamburger:

(swansea - ou. that be a miracle / wigan should be okay :)
  5:50pm Joltz:

Supersession was 1968, not 1967.
  5:51pm Danne D:

I think it'll be a tough job for both of 'em hamburger. Shame that Liverpool won today - my coworker is a big fan
  5:55pm Richard from Venezuela:

Hello Mike and all the listeners.
  5:56pm Frenchee:

thanks Joltz, we'll take that under consideration
  5:56pm Danne D:

Hola Ricardo :)
  5:56pm Frenchee:

Hi R from V!
  5:57pm Richard from Venezuela:
