  10:11pm
coelacanth:

Daniel that's sad. It should be illegal. Insurance companies should be neutered.
  10:13pm
coelacanth:

...maybe the landlord was afraid of squirrels getting on to the building...as if killing the trees will stop them!
  10:20pm
Johnny B:

Yeah, Blumin. This shit is hitting the spot!!!
  10:22pm
T-Zero:

@D Blumin: Know what you mean about the tress. They recently cut back ones in front of my front window... said insurance told them they couldn't be closer to the building than 6 ft.

@coelacanth: Oh! Don't get my started on squirrels. Had an infestation in the attic once... caused all knds of mayhem and havoc.
  10:25pm
T-Zero:

  10:25pm
D. Blumin:

Squirrels once ate my Brothers Karamazov right off my window sill. But not to worry I'd read vol. 1 and was already on vol. II.

  10:27pm
D. Blumin:

Ricardo, hello! B. La Bonte unlock yaself!
  10:31pm
Ike:

That's why I have cats. They protect all my Bulgakov and Lermontov. Wait, where's my Bulgakov and Lermontov?! Never mind, the cats failed. Or maybe I left those books at my parents' house. Nah, I'll blame the cats.

  10:43pm

D. Blumin:

Ike, don't you know that no worldly cat can protect the Master and Margarita???
  10:46pm
coelacanth:

T-Zero Yes i had a village in my ceiling(i'm on the top floor) once. I liked the pitter-patter of little feet in the morning, since i've no kids. Then they found a tiny hole above the bathroom -started making it bigger...I was worried about my classics,so i put some cayenne powder on some duct tape over the hole. THEY FREAKED! It was hillarious! and, problem solved. -until one got stuck in the wall.
  10:46pm
T-Zero:

Back in a few... need to eat.
  10:52pm
D. Blumin:

Any poltergeists in the kitchen, T-Zero?
  10:58pm

I've removed my seatbelt and am floating downstream...wake me gently if trouble is expected.
  11:07pm
T-Zero:

@D Blumin: Nope, but was having chicken.

@coelacanth: Oye! An entire family moved in under the floorboards and in the walls. Nothing worked to get rid of them for months. As I rented, finally I just moved out... no idea how they were finally removed.
  11:07pm
