Favoriting Seven Second Delay with Andy and Ken: Playlist from September 7, 2011 Favoriting

The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

  6:06pm
hamburger:

7sd insurance policy - what a scam.. :)
  6:07pm
Just Wondering:

Any time you have a guest from a higher level of well-known-ness, they cancel on you before the show. ANY THEORIES?

Make them sign a contract requiring they post a cash cancelation bond. In the insurance dodge, that's called "covering your bet".
  6:09pm
Just Wondering:

Is this the Lionel Cohen that wrote Suzanne?
  6:10pm
Chase the Vegan Smoker:

Last lionel sounds like a prick
  6:11pm
giraffe-o:

  6:12pm
Matt from Springfield:

The Rug Man:

I be Lioel the carpets!
  6:14pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

I wonder if that counts for a losing the will to live event?
  6:15pm
the tileman:

I be Lionel the vinyl.
  6:16pm
AC:

Alice Cooper Clones
  6:18pm
Ike:

That song wasn't bad. But other than that, this is causing me to lose the will to live.
  6:19pm
Just Wondering:

Couldn't you get Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lionel?
  6:20pm
Jasperodus:

Here's some backwards: http://kat330.posterous.com/my-famous-people-palindromes-per-sundays-npr
  6:21pm
Ike:

Actually, L. Guzman's site is kinda cool:

  6:22pm
Matt from Springfield:

Tommy James was cool. And he recently sang "Crimson and Clover" with Dolly Parton.
  6:24pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

See - he said it! He lost the will to live. I will enjoy submitting my insurance claim.
  6:25pm
Just Wondering:

Why doesn't Ken just get his secret soaked "equipment" from the basement fixed pronto? He could cover that $150 liability in no time flat.
  6:30pm
PMD:

Hear hear! I agree with taht point.
  6:31pm
PMD:

@ Listener Dave. He did not admit to it, I don't think.
  6:31pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

Ken did I think. Not Andy.
  6:32pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

If not, I can just wait until it happens next week.
  6:37pm

Balloons would work for doing me. I'm already full of hot air.
  6:44pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

I think perhaps this is a ruse.
  6:45pm
Barry:

"Theatre of the Mind"
  6:45pm
Matt from Springfield:

Hmm, a little TOO interesting for 7SD, there were lots of squeaky sounds to engage the listeners. "Disappointment grade" is only a C minus. Better lucky next time, Ken and Andy.
  6:46pm
hamburger:

  6:48pm

Oh I recognize that, so that was Vampire Weekend who do that song.
  6:52pm

Not sure. I'm sure that being "Spike" is pretty bogus, though.
  6:52pm
kat330:

I like this.
  6:52pm
The UnSpike:

How many years left on your Best Show Ban?
  6:54pm

  6:56pm
kat330:

Tom Waits for no one.
  6:57pm
tim:

Don Glen Vliet waits for Tom.
  6:58pm
Morrisey:

Try ripping off one of my songs with your own.....oh, never mind
  6:58pm

  6:59pm
mr. 840:

  7:02pm
kat330:

Youse toose! Stay safe in NYC this weekend.
  8:09pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Re: Ken worry about the SEC inquiry, it's my understanding these SEC guys showed up at Madoff's office all the time, and he told them (knowing they were low-level functionaries cowering in fear of their own bosses) that he wasn't afraid of them, could have them ruined, and to get lost. I think this is the obvious route to take should they show up at WFMU.

In fact, "How would you scare off the SEC guys who show up at WFMU?" is pretty much as good a SSD topic as any I've heard this year. You can have that one for free.
