Forgetting about Ableton and USB controllers this week...going back to straight volume manips on WFMU's board, the way I did collage a year or so ago. Lots of late 70s smooth hits.  0:00:00 (Pop-up)

Juma Sultan's Aboriginal Music Society!!!Gerry Hemingway Quintet.
Spacy folk set. Indonesian street musicians alongside analog noise and country.

G'morning Nat!

Andrew:

Hi Nat! ^_^
sounds like you're cleaning out the shed & having a fiddle on some instruments at the same time. Land Down Under made me smile ^_^
this set sounds good ^_^

Andrew:

Hi Marmalade Kitty ^_^
I love the crying ^_^
  3:10am
osvi:

hi fred, sadio & osvi
  3:18am
Nat:

yeahhhh.....man. This is hard and not nearly as good to do this stuff live on a stupid mixing board. Really overwhelmed and not being nearly as musical...thank god these jams are good though,
  3:22am
Andrew:

I noticed less cat meows.
different though
  3:23am
fred:

I knew the lack of Ableton and USB was not a good sign. BT played the purring cats yesterday, maybe he knows what you're doing
  3:24am
Nat:

Haha, yes, I have no cat samples now...it's kinda fun
doing things this way though. That must have been the Terry Fox recording Labyrinth Scored for the Purrs of 11 Cats, a classic avant recording. You can get it on ubuweb.
  3:31am
Marmalade Kitty:

  3:33am

I'm so looking forward to that live set! I hope work will let me tune in live, but otherwise I'll definitely hit the archives.
It will be archived, right?
  3:39am
Nat:

Of course. Hopefully will be up on the Free Music Archive too.
  3:43am
Marmalade Kitty:

I'm having to make notes of all these 80's classics that I haven't heard for donkeys.. :)
  3:48am
