Ian Matthews' real name, if I recall correctly, is Ian Matthew McDonald, but he changed it to avoid confusion with the King Crimson guy. Coincidentally, both Ians were in bands with Judy Dyble.

Chico Hamilton, age 90, is playing tomorrow night, Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Drom club on Avenue A in Manhattan. I saw him there a month ago, and he was great!
