Listener comments!

  8:08pm
Destroit:

Thank you, vladislav always good.
  8:09pm
Rupture:

yes. this is his 10th album!
  8:13pm
anne:

hurrah, we now have internets and you're streaming in loud and clear to our new abode!
  8:15pm
Rupture:

great! i hope Chicago is super (its probably much better to VISIT new york than to live here...)
  8:15pm
Destroit:

Wow. He played some late night live shows here in Detroit, always up to the task...this was about 10 years ago. Deadbeat is another one that I've enjoyed.
  8:22pm
Nina:

hey rupture! terrible weather this, but it's perfect for baking cookies to this playlist! nyc's miserable this week.
  8:23pm
Rupture:

COOKIE WEATHER, i like it
  8:24pm
anne:

COLDness over here! and they say "oh you just wait..."
  8:25pm
anne:

but nah i think NYC is super to live in. i miss it. i feel so new here. but i had fun riding my bike along the lake to dwntwn, 20 mph gusts keeping me @ a snail's pace.
  8:28pm
Nina:

anne, have you ever been in a chicago winter? they're intense! i grew up in them, and i was shocked to learn that other cities don't have weekly whiteout blizzards.
  8:28pm
phil:

sounds great!
  8:28pm
Destroit:

Haha. Feelin the cold here, having cookie dreams. Looking forward to the show, I haven't caught the full 'show' yet, just bits and pieces .
  8:31pm
Rupture:

C hicago cold is NO JOKE. frosty.
  8:32pm
anne:

Hi Nina, never experienced a chicago winter and i'm from detroit! i just haven't been in the midwest for more than 15 yrs til now. i do like blizzards & snow tho. i really loved the last nyc winter when it was all snowy. i want to learn how to Xcountry ski. there's a lot of land here.
  8:34pm
Destroit:

Anne: not to turn this into social network nonsense, but are you in Detroit now, or just grew up in the d?
  8:35pm
Kat in Chicago:

anne: welcome! Unfortunately an above-average awful winter is being predicted for us. Autumn has been pretty mild but I don't expect our luck to hold. What neighborhood are you in, if you don't mind my asking?
  8:38pm
anne:

@Kat, hyde park. and u?
@Destroit, grew up in suburban D. are you there now? i remember long winters & ICE all over
  8:38pm
Rupture:

NYC is still mild, feels like a suspense movie... waiting for horrible (weather) to hit.
  8:38pm
Destroit:

I missed the tea leaves. New abode in Chicago. Have fun anne, so many transplants....
  8:40pm
anne:

thank you all :)
gorgeous music btw rupture
  8:40pm
Kat in Chicago:

Rupture - kinda feels like that here too, although last couple days have been cold. Anne - Ukrainian Village (near northwest side)
  8:42pm
Destroit:

At Anne: still here, holding it down. Waiting for everyone to move back! :)
  8:43pm
anne:

@Kat, we should do a wfmu chicago listeners meetup. maybe when it gets warmer :) you from chicago? we went to handlebar and quimby's, near Ukranian Village i think?
  8:45pm
Kat in Chicago:

Anne - would love to do a meetup in spring! I know a couple of FOTs but not other listeners. Yes, both those places are nearby (Wicker Park)
  8:46pm
Rupture:

I have some Chicago juke to play but i think the mood took us in a different direction...
  8:46pm
Kat in Chicago:

Haha the juke will keep till next time
  8:49pm
keith:

thanks for playing the lana del ray tune; have read/heard about her. Had no idea what she sounded like, just aware of her appearance. She sounded much different than my bias would have allowed.
  8:49pm
Kat in Chicago:

I think I might like Dropped Pianos even more than Ravedeath
  8:50pm
Rupture:

yeah, I agree -- I just actually LISTENED to LDR a few days ago
  8:55pm
Destroit:

Only song I've heard of Lana, but I've heard it on a bunch of creative stations throughout the world. Gets better everytime I hear it. My gf said it reminded her of heather nova, another secret passion.
  8:57pm
keith:

rupture- all over the musical map tonight- genre be damned. It's great; kept it locked.
  8:58pm
phil:

yeah, that play list is crazy.
  9:01pm
Destroit:

Great show. Wish it was more than 1 hour. Maybe I'm dull, but how is it possible to craft a 1 hour show? I was just getting started!
  9:02pm
Rupture:

i know!! goes by so so fast
  9:05pm
Destroit:

Good stuff tho, thx!
  7:29pm
Marmalade Kitty:

I was listening to the show live, inebriated.. compelled to say: wonderful show Rupture!!
