  11:15am
glenn:

wrestling will never be the same.
  11:28am
frances:

so weird to hear a cover of "Cookie Jar", I love the original by mark mulcahy
  11:29am
paul:

RIP Dobie Gray & John Jeremiah
  11:30am
Robert:

I think that financial interest thing was only a practical limitation on Andy B. and Tom S. regarding "Monk". For everyone else it has the problem you expressed.
  11:31am
Joe from DC:

Great to hear the Wildweeds and Big Al Anderson!
  11:33am
Robert:

Just to take an example, what band that might've recorded something could Bob Brainen NOT be said to have a "financial interest" in?
  11:34am
Robert:

Fortunately his name is routinely left off credits.
  11:36am
Roy:

Robert - what are you talking about. Don't hint - just say whatever it is you're hinting at.
  11:38am
glenn:

well, here in toronto, there's a classic rock radio station (q107) which has a d.j. (kim mitchell) who's a pretty big name in the canadian rock scene, and his music is played on his show every day, and i think it's douchey. not to mention shitty music.
  11:51am
paul:

Was that audio clip Billy Crystal? What was that from?
  11:52am
SD:

My eyes hurt! LOLZ
  11:54am
Michael:

SD - you're just jumping on the bandwagon - I changed the color from "yellow" to "FFFF66" a while ago...
  11:54am
dino:

CI believe that clip was Christopher Guest, from the old National LampoLampoon Radio Hour
  11:54am
mrmucho:

that Eddie & the Hot Rods song is TOPS
  11:55am
Michael:

Dino is correct!
  11:56am
Michael:

so is mrmucho
  11:56am
mrmucho:

this Wildweeds song is well worth your time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGKMPNCHmyU
  11:57am
dino:

"FFFF66" is so blinding I typo'd "Lampoon"
  11:57am
SD:

you shouldve used FFFF55
  11:59am
Michael:

okay - "FFFFCC" now - are you happy?
  12:00pm
dino:

definitely mellower
  12:00pm
SD:

dont take it so personally michael. i needed some sun anyway
  12:02pm
dino:

I think this color is called "cornsilk" or "buff"?
  12:05pm
dino:

Inducting G&R dissolves any last little bit of credibility that R&R Hall of Fame might have had...
  12:08pm
Minnesota Jeff:

EEEVIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLUHHHHH!
  12:09pm
ang:

Spalding Gray did that riff in a performance. Not sure if someone rifted him or vice versa. But I did see Gray do it when I was very young discovering NYC art word.
  12:10pm
ang:

but I was not young enough to hear Television sing See No Evil...sad but happy to hear you play it!
  12:11pm
Robert:

Roy, I was just giving that as one example. People at your stn. can be in some way identified with so many things that their names are not on but that they might be said to have some remaining interest in, it's impracticable.
  12:17pm
paul:

Billy C. and Christopher G. would later be cast-mates on SNL.
"I hate when that happens."
  12:19pm
paul:

That IS a great cover.
  12:20pm

Eugene Edwards, underappreciated, a great album
  12:50pm
dino:

  12:55pm

Don't forget John Jeremiah.
  12:55pm
