  12:05pm
Cheri Pi:

  12:05pm

  12:13pm
Cecile:

  12:19pm
Cheri Pi:

I love this Priestess album.
  12:20pm
Jim Devoid:

Have to admit: I have an affinity for Priestess..
  12:25pm
The KWE:

MOB STYLE!!!
  12:26pm
Dave B:

Diane - thanks for that blog post on the MET exhibit. I might just head over this weekend.
  12:27pm
Cecile:

that looked great.
i also urge Minneapolis folk to see the Edo Style exhibit at the Mpls Institute of Arts. Fantastic, even better with the explanations.
  12:28pm
The KWE:

  12:28pm
The KWE:

YES STEP FORWARD!!
  12:29pm

  12:32pm
glenn:

cecile, does mpls have a summit ave? some of those st paul houses are amazing.
  12:32pm
andymorphic:

void were sure a great band....brilliant guitar
  12:33pm
kamikaze:

Hey Everybody! Thanks for tuning in! My special guest today is RALPHIE G of the NYC MOB! He will be on at 1pm !!
  12:34pm
Cecile:

st. paul does. That's st. paul.

I also recommend the St. Paul Almanac - really cool community project loaded with events, art, poems, articles. Not affiliated, just kept reading it at the coffee shop and finally bought it.
  12:35pm
Cecile:

Oh, I know what you mean.
In Minneapolis, drive down by Lake of the Isles or Lake Harriet, there's some cool ones there.
  12:36pm
Cecile:

but they aren't laid out as perfectly as in St. Paul. It's more twisty and turny.
Another place to see cool houses, less upscale ones is St. Anthony Park in St. Paul. No two houses are alike, and the streets are really twisty and turny.
  12:37pm
glenn:

yes, i know. i meant does mpls have a version of summit ave? bad wording.
  12:39pm
Cecile:

head south toward the Lakes.
there are also some cool areas up behind the Walker Arts Center in Minneapolis - old sandstone apartment buildings, fancy townhomes.
  12:39pm
Dave B:

I vaguely recall seeing Void at CBGBs back in late 81 or 82... Pure mayhem.
  12:40pm
Mike East:

Goddamned floods. Won't leave us alone.
  12:41pm
The KWE:

VOID @ CBS N GILDERSLEEVES
  12:42pm
glenn:

well, there's no such thing as global warming, so that can't have anything to do with it. *sarcasm*
  12:43pm
Jay/ London:

greetings From London am home from work early so got to listen to your show live :)
  12:47pm
pierre:

Ohi like those kind of guitars, that goes up in the sky… sound a bit surf, a beat something…
  12:49pm
The KWE:

DR BUTCHER YEAAAA
  12:49pm
Cecile:

Dr. Butcher were also a pretty odd heavy metal band.
A Savatage side project that was actually listenable. (not a Savatage fan).
  12:50pm
The KWE:

U KNOW IM GONNA BE @ ALL DAY
  12:51pm
pierre:

oh this is great !
  12:53pm

  1:00pm

  1:05pm
The KWE:

TAKE US BACK RALPHIE...LETS HEAR IT!!
  1:10pm
Dave B:

Ralphie - speaking on behalf of my time with Crumbsuckers, The Mob was a big influence.
  1:11pm
The KWE:

YO DAVE U REMEMBER JUSTIN?
  1:15pm
luann gebbia:

hey ralphie g i love u and the mob
  1:16pm
Cecile:

Yay! I love this Kiss song
  1:17pm
Dave B:

KWE - I think so. A lot of those days are a blur.
  1:18pm
Cecile:

I love that Nile Rogers said Kiss was even an influence on Chic in the 70s. He wanted Chic to be "you just noticed the suit - not who was in it."
  1:21pm
Jamie bad luck13:

Ralphie G you are the man
  1:23pm
The KWE:

DAVE, GARY JUSTIN I FORMED A BAND POINT BLANK.JUSTIN ON DRUMS ME SINGING PRACTICED A FEW TIMES BUT CRUMBSUCKERS STARTED BLOWIN UP N THE REST IS HISTORY..
  1:24pm
Cheri Pi:

Ted Nugent should have played during the Thanksgiving halftime. Not Nickelback.
  1:24pm
Cheri Pi:

Yeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
  1:25pm
PKNY:

Quite possibly the heaviest song ever written.
  1:25pm
The KWE:

LUV WHEN THE MOB DOES PARANOID
  1:27pm
Cecile:

Cheri, Eminem, Mayer Hawthorne, George Clinton, my brother in law's crappy band, Timmy's Organism, the Romantics would have all been more qualified to helm the 1/2 time show.

Still...Packers won. Right on.
  1:27pm
Dave B:

KWE - That brings it on home! Hell yeah, I remember that now that you bring it back!

Totally owe so much to the Mob, Reagan Youth, Urban Waste, Kraut and all those that paved the way.

Big ups Ralphie!
  1:29pm
The KWE:

I KNEW I COULD JOG YOUR MEMORY...
  1:29pm
Cheri Pi:

Timmy's Organism-can you imagine?!
  1:30pm
Dr. Emmett Brown:

There's that word again: heavy. Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?
  1:30pm
Stu grissom:

The Stone Roses playing at this year's Stanly Cup? Can anyone verify this?
  1:31pm
Cecile:

that Ted cover is the greatest rock 'n' roll truth in packaging.
  1:33pm
The KWE:

DID U SAY EXPERIENCE?
  1:37pm
The KWE:

THE GLUE!!
  1:40pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Ralphie G's sounds like Rob Weisberg..
  1:43pm
Cecile:

I don't hear it, Kitty.
  1:45pm
Marmalade Kitty:

his speaking voice, not the singing voice (never heard RobW sing :)
  1:47pm
