	1:42am I work a crappy retail job: We have a 5 disc changer at work and I made sure that not one of the eight xmas cds we got made it into the cd player before at least black friday. I guess I'm doing my part to slow down the 'christmas creep'

	1:51am I work a crappy retail job: I closed at the store tonight, and today was possibly the first time all five discs were xmas themed. It's the 11th, so I think I did ok. Does that make me a culture warrior and perhaps a terrorist in the War on Christmas?
	1:55am Julie: I get sad when an artist I like puts out a Christmas album. You really want to put an a whole album of things I'll only listen once a year?
	1:59am I work a crappy retail job: The novelty aspect is alright for a one off single or something like that, but full albums, jeez. I totally agree Julie.
	2:04am Therese: Most of them are at least 40% filler, but every once in awhile, an artist hits it out of the park. See: Brown, James.

	2:09am Julie: It's really just a Christmas album, traditional and orirginal, though there's a couple ones that I guess are just wintery
	2:11am I work a crappy retail job: I saw Thee Oh Sees at Le Poisson Rouge a few weeks (maybe a month?) ago. Good time. They played this track. I like how high they play their guitars.
	2:17am Mike Sin: Of course, Xmas music gets played earlier and earlier each year ("Hey, it's just business, nothing personal."), but, I think Xmas music grates on the nerves most on anyone over 30 because the time between each Xmas gets "shorter" every year, as it were... "Man, it feels like we just heard all these different versions of these tired warhorses of tunes just a couple of months ago!" That said, good morning, Therese.
