  3:30pm

The lizard driving the Road Roller is actually Glen Campbell. The rumors were true!!
  3:45pm
BSI:

pee is wrong!
  3:47pm
Minnesota Jeff:

DJKG - I should have sent you a link to the band "The New Year" when you told me about this show. Its a Touch & Go records indie rock type band, so maybe it wouldn't fit your scheme. If they got the CD "The New year" there at WFMU, the song "Seven Days and Seven Nights" ain't too shabby.
  3:51pm
DJ KG:

mn gif - i'll have a look for it!
  3:52pm
BodegaMan:

too bad I can't listen today. Catch it all in the archive.

Happy New Year all.
  3:53pm

DJKG - Its a self titled album, red cover with just the words "THe new Year" on it,
  3:53pm

Did you know Glen Campbell was/is the Zodiac Killer?

magic eight ball: is it true my boyfriend is peeing in the sink ?
  4:14pm
Mel:

no
  4:15pm
Magic Eight Ball:

Any bf actually worth having does in fact pee in the sink at least occasionally. Such as when you are endlessly hogging the bathroom during an even more indecisive than usual makeup session.
  4:17pm
northguineahills:

Phew! Got here just in time for ground zero!
  4:20pm
Magic Eight Ball:

Just be thankful he can't pour poo down the kitchen sink.
  4:23pm
KAROL:

gee , this is turning out to be not as helpful as I thought it would be
  4:23pm
Magic Eight Ball:

YVW.
  4:24pm
northguineahills:

Vaclav Havel had a stint in the Plastic People of the Universe. RIP.
  4:27pm
hamburger:

I read an article on how peeing down the sink is not all that unhygienic and could in fact save a lot of needlessly wasted water.. go figure..
  4:28pm
Magic Eight Ball:

There ya go.

Hints from Hell-oise:

Flush it out with some water, or the uric acid sitting in the drain trap could eat through the metal pipe.
  4:31pm
DJ KG:

you guys? i love that you're talking about this. carry on.
  4:32pm
Magic Eight Ball:

I'd never in a million years have thought of it. Thank KAROL. :-)
  4:34pm
KAROL:

my REAL magic eight ball broke so i thought i'd try here
  4:34pm
DJ KG:

8ball, do you ever think of things without being asked first?
  4:35pm
Magic Eight Ball:

I am very submissive that way. You ask, I answer. 8 balls don't have agendas of their own.
  4:37pm
Magic Eight Ball:

your REAL eight ball would have said yes. but that single word is far less revealing than the magic typing eight ball.
  4:40pm
jonathan:

my band had a practice space with a broken toilet. "I'm going to pee in the sink" was heard often.
  4:41pm
DJ KG:

we do have a working 8 ball upstairs here. and a working toilet, too!
  4:42pm
Trivial Pursuit:

The lead character in Charlie Kaufman's "Synecdoche, NY" pees in a basement sink in front of his wife when a plumber is working in the upstairs bathroom.
  4:45pm
hamburger:

there was this guy on 'American Inventor' who came up with a special outfit that allowed you to pee anywhere you'd like - although it made you look like a walking burlap sack...
  4:46pm
DJ KG:

i can pee anywhere i like without any special outfit at all!
  4:47pm
G:

we all knew kurt was talented, but wow!!!!
  4:47pm
hamburger:

I guess it's the people around you that it may be more of an issue of DJ KG? or not?
  4:50pm
Skippy Peanut Butter:

@Chadbourne: I call trademark violation.
  4:51pm
jonathan:

my friend got so used to peeing in the practice space sink that once - at a beach in jersey - he had to pee so he drew a sink in the sand and dug a hole and used it.
  4:51pm
G:

ur insane, mon
  4:55pm
Jerry Jeff Walker song:

"The answer, my friend, is just pissin' in the snk"
  4:55pm
DJ KG:

oh, g, anyone can do it. it's easy!
  4:56pm
G:

I'll have to practice.
  5:01pm
northguineahills:

Thought that was Puttin' on the Ritz.
  5:12pm
Quick!:

Best MN Jeff Gif of 2011?
  5:24pm
Slow:

thinking.
  5:36pm
Caryn:

Hello all! Been here for most of the show, but haven't had anything to add to the sink discussion, so have remained quiet. Or untyping.
  5:37pm
DJ KG:

hi caryn! and hello to everyone!
  5:40pm
Caryn:

Actually watching the 1967 "Casino Royale" movie, so have turned down your show (sorry) occasionally to listen to the Bacharach music. Enjoying the cool cast and hot women. And general weirdness. Just now, a royal guardsman kidnapped the daughter of James Bond and Mata Hari on horseback and rode into a UFO. You know, that old chestnut.
  5:42pm
northguineahills:

Wait, Axel Dorner is on this track? WTF? Doesn't sound like him.

oh, Hans Reichel died last month.
  5:43pm
DJ KG:

yeah, axel can swing when called upon!
  5:43pm
G:

"old chestnut" -- yes, 1967 is as far away today as 1922 was in 1967
  5:43pm
DJ KG:

caryn, that's the weird david niven one, right?
  5:44pm
Caryn:

Yes indeed, DJ KG. I always forget how many "James Bonds" there are in this one. Best looking Moneypenny ever, though. Although the male Moneypenny in the new films is quite dishy too.
  5:45pm
paula pc:

this braxton is so helping right now
  5:46pm
DJ KG:

god, this braxton record is sooooooooooooo good!
  5:47pm
das:

before it's too late - happy ny and thanks for the movie reviews!
  5:48pm
DJ KG:

ha! my plezhur.
  5:48pm
northguineahills:

Most Braxton records are so good, they're god!
  5:49pm
DJ KG:

troo dat. i just bought 11 last week! but the italian instabile orchestra is so great. they even made cecil taylor sound clear as a bell.
  5:50pm
DJ KG:

which is not meant to be dismissive of the great ct, just that they did that!
  5:50pm
Adam in Portland:

My new year's resolution is to quit being such a twit, and listen to loads more Braxton.
  5:51pm
Adam in Portland:

....and loads more KG!
  5:53pm
northguineahills:

Gah!!!!! Sam RIvers died!!!!!! I was just listening to him last week!!!!
  5:54pm
Caryn:

Aha! Found "The New Year" album!
  5:56pm
northguineahills:

@ Caryn: Me too. However, I still like Bedhead better.
