  7:03pm rahrahrahrah:

Just makin a cameo.
  7:11pm darue:

hope you bring up Gunther von Hagens atrocious Body Worlds display. How disgusting. I won't go into the whole depth, but his dad was a nazi who pioneered the "plastination" technique. Now idiot medical schools and museums host this travelling horror show, under the pretense that it's somehow "educational" - real plastic anatomical figures would be just as "educational" - instead, this monster displays actual human remains.
  7:15pm Curator Dave:

We don't have empathy for the dead of the other.
  7:16pm Curator Dave:

I am outraged by your lack of outrage!!!!!!!!!!!
  7:16pm rahrahrahrah:

War is heck. Tim Tebow is also heck.
  7:18pm darue:

Bodies of poor pile up at Illinois morgue
An alarming number of dead bodies are stacking up at an Illinois morgue due to financial troubles, according to a report from The Chicago Sun Times.

Staff at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office are upset over receiving an over-capacity in both adult and child bodies. With a limited amount of space, Cook County decided to pile bodies on top of one another in blue plastic tarps in the storage cooler.
  7:26pm Alicia Renee:

On the responsibility of NY counties to bury unclaimed/etc dead(*wow* btw.)
->perhaps a useful (efficient/conservation-oriented/cost-effective) choice would be for all counties to set up Green-Cemeteries---> no embalming, no titanium-embossed-caskets, just wrapped bodies, buried, and left to decompose in the earth ((wooden markers/flowers allowable)).
  7:33pm giraffe-o:

I'd like to be gibbetted and put on display somewhere
  7:34pm darue:

ah, Tibetan Sky Burial. Once the bones are clean, their ground up and cooked into bread and the bread is fed to the birds as well.
  7:34pm depressed Persian cab driver:

I know. Her idea of wanting to cash in on Jewish guilt is DOOMED to fail. She needs to focus on the Catholics. Sorry...
  7:35pm Alicia Renee:

Jay-- should you die in NYS, stipulate having your body hauled up to Ithaca. http://naturalburial.org/
  7:38pm Kat in Chicago:

  7:38pm Curator Dave:

You could donate your body to science.
  7:40pm Curator Dave:

UVA Medical is nice to the bodies. If you fuck with the body you fail out.
  7:42pm cglenn:

reading Jessica Mitford's 'American Way of Death' was quite sobering. The industry to making $ off the dead. Another subject but sorta related. love you guys..
  7:46pm Alicia Renee:

*totally forgot ALL ABOUT that freaky liquid oxygen!!*
drowning as an imperative to living. ha.
  7:49pm depressed Persian cab driver:

Maybe another future show related to tonight: the "Red Market" ?
Wombs for rent and stolen kidneys, babies for sale and all that.
If you value shock, please understand that dead are best left alone
and their loved ones respected accordingly. But organ and blood sales are up,
and the rich can buy a designer baby right here in the good old USA in 2012.
  7:49pm Kat in Chicago:

Just don't torrent that poo torrent!
  7:51pm Alicia Renee:

MPAA has had FIVE (5!) straight years of record breaking profits btw
  7:53pm Steve from SF:

So anything I produce should be free to everyone with a computer?
  7:57pm depressed Persian cab driver:

Harvest those ovaries and sell them. Why not? Sperm is everywhere... even I have some.
