The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

kat330:

@drew: I don't know which came first: They rake Lou over the coals, so he canceled, or he canceled so they raked him over the coals.
  6:05pm
Brass Knuckles:

This show is already starting to piss me off.
  6:05pm
Caryn:

Having worked in a nursing home for people with mental illnesses, all this sounds eerily familiar.

Andy's mic sucks, as often it does.

Prostatic? Urethra? Etc etc? We never put those words on the proscribed list? What could we have been thinking????

  6:06pm
The Whole Listenership:

Video, or we call BS
  6:08pm
Matt from Springfield:

"Dis<RRRRR>troyed him!" Des-effing-troying! Language, Ken, language!
  6:08pm
Matt from Springfield:

I heard of live video as well, don't know where it is.
  6:09pm
moose:

will just edits the puzzle in the times
you can always tell a clue that he's touched- very specific
sometimes he constructs a novelty puzzle
the npr puzzles are occasionally fun
boobs radley seems neat though
  6:09pm
moose:

and i got that illin' clue right off!
  6:13pm
kat330:

I swear I had this in the works WAY before I knew the 7SD guests tonight, but there's a real synch on the Shortz subject at my site:

  6:14pm
Matt from Springfield:

Dan Fogelberg's been dead almost four years. Just in case this crowd didn't pick that up. :)
  6:15pm
Listener Dave From Seattle:

Listeners can play along at home in the pee contest
  6:16pm
moose:

will does prefer males!
  6:18pm
kat330:

I'm happy to be disabused of his not choosing female entrants (ONLY when a subjective choice, not the usual random pick), so let me know in a comment at the site if you can prove he's picked plenty of creations by women.
  6:19pm
moose:

(I just mean he's homosexual)
There are some female crossword constructors at least
  6:19pm
kat330:

You cannot imagine how tickled I'll be if a female is read as the winner -- or even a runner-up -- this Sunday.
  6:20pm
kat330:

Hey guys, e-mail the site URL to him! :)
  6:22pm
kat330:

Yes, Moose, I know he has female cruciverbalists, but I still never heard women win his wordplay, like Spoonerisms, palindromes and the like.
  6:23pm
Caryn:

I wonder if Julieanne has mentioned that "Family Feud" schlong-answer at her job... It would fit in with the "tits" thing.
  6:24pm
?:

does andy have his erection?
  6:25pm
Danne D:

They pee yet?
  6:25pm
moose:

you mean the randomly selected winning entries? (and who gets to play on the air?) i feel like i've heard some women do that
  6:26pm
kat330:

Noooo, specifically NOT the randomly picked ones. Only when he personally selects a creative challenge winner. Maybe it will be clear if you go to the URL I posted.
  6:26pm
moose:

oh you mean the creators of the radio puzzler i think
i feel like they're from people he knows
ok done on this topic!

How to get the topic back on to Dan Fogelberg ...
  6:28pm
Listener Dave From Seattle:

Are adult diapers allowed?
  6:29pm
kat330:

If anyone finds a video link, I guess we can see if Andy has an erection.
  6:29pm
Danne D:

Btw Listener Dave, some of us play along with the "hold the pee" game every week...
  6:30pm
Caryn:

Currently drinking a 1,5 litre bottle of Pepsi Max, so I suppose I'm playing along.
  6:31pm
Matt from Springfield:

@tim: "So, you know who also died around our age, but NOT from holding in his pee? Dan Fogelberg."
  6:31pm
mike noble in dc:

andy shot down my idea: secret catheter.
  6:32pm
Listener Dave From Seattle:

I guess I didn't think of that. Usually I allow myself to pee during the show.
  6:33pm
kat330:

J.T. & I just had sushi, so I guess we're playing along on the Ken team.
  6:35pm
Caryn:

If Letterman is right and Regis' retirement is all Gelman's plot to become host himself, Jack doesn't have a shot. Gelman will have him bumped off if he becomes a viable candidate.
Avatar 6:35pm
tim:

Well, a cursory, unenthusiastic search of "fogelberg adult diaper" yields IMDB quotes from "No Cure For Cancer" (1992).

  6:38pm
Listener Dave From Seattle:

The interviews today have been sort of confusing.
  6:43pm
Caryn:

Of course, if Gelman has Jack killed, they could make a 70s' style paranoid drama about it, with Ken and Andy as the Woodward and Bernstein of the piece. Someone on the comments board would be their "Deep Throat" character.
  6:43pm
Danne D:

I think Dave would be good for that informant character
Avatar 6:44pm
tim:

Theme by Jerry Goldsmith and Dan Fogelberg.
  6:45pm
Caryn:

@Danne: very true. Or you. Although that shadowy "friend of Mark Consuelos" could have the insider information to be the informant. Unless Dave is actually that friend...
  6:46pm
Danne D:

I dunno - I think I'm a little too goofy to be a good informant :)
  6:48pm
Caryn:

Oh Danne, that's just your carefully cultivated cover identity. In reality, you are a shadowy character from the upper echelons of broadcasting power... Part of some cabal with Mark Consuelos.
  6:51pm
Listener Dave From Seattle:

More confused. Please let me know when it is over.
  6:52pm
Caryn:

The movie ends when Ken & Andy realise you, as their informant, have been feeding them false information at the behest of Consuelos and Gelman. The "hold your pee" contest is a cover for Gelman's planned assassination of the pair, with the deaths to be attributed to "water intoxication" by a friendly doctor: Leo Spaceman. Of course, having uncovered your plot, I'll also wind up dead soon... Or will I?

Danne D:

"Confused" really means awaiting instructions. I think the spy stuff has already begun, Caryn :)
  6:55pm
Danne D:

Caryn should host a comments-board only show :)
  6:56pm
Caryn:

Ah, listener Dave, the sleeper agent who will carry out the actual assassination. His comments board messages are supposed to act as an alibi in case someone gets wise to the plot.
  6:57pm
kat330:

Thanks for your hospitality UCB, FMU, K&A and lovely listeners and take and give care all!
  6:57pm
mike noble in dc:

very nice of former guest nadia kalman not to make any deal out of not being recognized by our hosts.
  6:57pm
Caryn:

Listener Dave is currently crouched in the audience, waiting for the poison he laced Ken & Andy's drinks with to take effect.
  6:57pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

I'm no whiz at this. Who's winning the contest?
  6:59pm
Caryn:

Dave was also that head shop clerk who sold Ken his Pepto-Bismol this morning. More poison there. That explains why he refused to be on the radio...
  6:59pm
Brass Knuckles:

it's a draw. they're going to hit the head together after the show and cross streams and high five each other.
  7:00pm
Caryn:

Hey, you never cross the streams! I learned that from "Ghostbusters".
  7:00pm
J.T.:

Whiz-Bang episode, thanks for a good show!
  7:01pm
Danne D:

Have a good night everyone :)
