Hey Monica, tedious question here, but if you have time or memory, I'd appreciate it! What was the song you played last week that you spoke over after the first set? I believe it followed right after F.C. Judd's Tempotune?

Had a lemon of a Mac in 2005. Went thru countless hours of tech support, visits to the Apple store and even had a home visit from an Apple tech. All to no avail.
Finally I sent all the documentation via Fed Ex to Steve Jobs office. Within 24 hours I received a call from his office saying that they would be shipping me a whole new setup. New tower and monitor etc. Including apologies for having to send a larger monitor. It's still working fine to this day!

was once arrested in Mexico City by some cops that claimed I had destroyed a telephone booth, was handcuffed, had my wallet taken, threatened, then they just took all my money and dumped me out on a curb after a couple hours at 4 a.m. I had to walk all the way home, that day, the system won

wikipedia on "Some of These Days":

Originally written and composed by Shelton Brooks for the “Last of the Red-Hot Mamas”, "Some of These Days" became a signature song for Sophie Tucker, who made the first of her several recordings of it in 1911.

I had a friend who, back in the 50's suffered his first broken heart while a student at Yale. To cheer him up a friend took him to see No Biz Like Sho Biz and in the middle of it my friend cracked up. He said he realized that it was an absurd film, that life itself was absurd and that there was no reason to have a broken heart and so he never again did.
