Listener comments!

  12:18am Ken From Hyde Park:

Cultes des Ghoules = Cults of Ghouls ... that stirs up weird images.
  12:19am JJJ:

The Blind Dead
Avatar 12:21am Wm.:

I quite like the name; sounds like the title of an old Euro horror film. This track, by the way, is one whole release, a "magnum-opus" of 25 mins., a practice becoming more and more a facet of black metal.
  12:28am Shaqueela O'Kneel:

Oh Sheila, your ravaged lunch meat face is totally harshing my trip, man!
  12:31am slugluv1313:

really really enjoying "Spectres over Transylvania"!!! must find out more about Cultes des Ghoules . . . and where, pray tell, does tonight's lovely image come from?
  12:37am Ned:

All right, for once I'm catching the Quiet live from the West Coast
  12:38am Rory:

My favorite Lovecraft short story is "The Lurking Fear".
Avatar 12:41am Wm.:

I've always loved The Outsider. But the longer stories serve perhaps a different purpose than the quick shockers.
Tonight's film is not the greatest, though it is loaded with many memorable scenes and iconic Euro-horror imagery that I've been seeing in books all my life. www.imdb.com...
  12:41am Ned:

My fav Lovecraft is "The Shadow Over Innsmouth": "I have an odd craving to whisper about those few frightful hours in that ill-rumored and evilly-shadowed seaport of death and blasphemous abnormality."
  1:04am Leber:

I figured V would have a more orchestral theme song for himself but this is good too.
  1:07am slugluv1313:

thank you, Wm.! will check out "Terror of the Living Dead" . . . just got an old Lovecraft collection off the shelf -- devoured his works when i was a kid (this is a Scholastic paperback from 1971 -- !) -- a revisit is long overdue :)
  1:15am JJJ:

The Thing On the Doorstep is one of my favourites, Arthur Machen probably scares me more though
Avatar 1:16am Wm.:

I think our lady of the playlist is quite attractive; I am into that "undead" thing, though.
  1:19am Rory:

JJJ, Arthur Machen one of the all time greats.
  1:21am JJJ:

She's very thing on the doorstep ;) I've been living in Scotland for a while now and it's the spookiest place I've been, something to do with all the sandstone and hills I think.
Rory there's a great Alan Moore audio book that ties Machen in to all history it's pretty hair raising, they're from the same place

  1:53am JJJ:

What's the music behind the dj? Reminds me of Castlevania
Avatar 1:59am Wm.:

kIRBY - COMMING SOON ZELDA TWILIGHT PRINCESS
  1:59am |||:

Good to hear the UnholyDanishMetal's channel name thrown in here, btw it would be great if the Castle plays some Blodfest, another amazing piece of a danish band.
  2:13am ScottC:

awesome!
  2:17am SiHV:

Screeching noise for a Los Angeles evening.
  2:28am Blee:

Another amazing show Wm. Enjoying these long play tracks as well.
Random, but not a solicitation: Have you guys heard about the Palaoa project - where this research station records and streams underwater sounds in Antarctica. Really ambient and ethereal, but loud and chaotic at times. When a glacier is crashing into the ocean nearby, it sounds like worlds colliding.

Avatar 2:33am Wm.:

Thanks Blee, sounds cool. I'll look into it!
  2:37am Fruits:

i am liking the show!!!
  2:43am SiHV:

Huh, I assumed this Woven Path was the new Wold. Demented stuff.
  8:27pm ken of Brooklyn:

LOVED THE LONG SETS TONIGHT! Brilliant show as always Wm!
