Listener comments!

  9:20pm
Martha:

Oh come on, you can't ALL be watching the Grammys -
  9:26pm
r in va:

Afraid so.
  9:27pm
T-Zero:

Indeed. I could not care less about the Grammys. I did quite like the first track you played. I confess to not really following the likes, but liked the mimicking of voice and instrumentation against each other.
  9:29pm
T-Zero:

Actually, I'm trying to figure out what's up out in the parking lot here. A ring of cop cars are circled around some dude lying on the groud...
  9:30pm
GM:

We're out here. Just entranced by this Danava track...
  9:30pm
Martha:

Well, that does sound more interesting/pressing than anything I can come up with!
  9:32pm
Martha:

Danava - another of those great old school type of metal bands (for lack of a better way of saying it) - btw, anyone know if the Colours area old or new band? - I'm thinking old shoegaze...
  9:33pm
T-Zero:

So far no guns are drawn... and the guy just seems to be sitting there while the cops are all milling about...
  9:35pm
Dude on the Ground:

Can't we all just get along?
  9:35pm
PB:

I'm with T-Zero, I could care less about the Grammys. I have no interest in 99% of the perfomers, nominees or presenters. This year my wife is watching and I had the misfortune of seeing Bruce Springsteen, The Beach Boys and Paul McCartney. Is there a bigger tool in the world than Bruce Springsteen. Nothing else to say about the Beach Boys and McCartney at this point than pathetic. Truly sad, at some point you just have to give it up.
  9:38pm
Martha:

I suggest you don't watch/attend any of the R'n'R Hall of Fame shows then - talk about truly sad...
  9:38pm
Guys Who Couldn't Give It Up:

Backstage we discussed forming a new supergroup. We'll call ourselves either The Jowls Brothers or Have Walkers Will Travel
  9:39pm
Tom from Gravesend Bklyn !!:

.. by 1980 myself sick of commercial FM long gone sour before 1980 of cause ..then came Regan , corp rock, huey lewis, post disco ,, ,, but then I discovered Pat Duncan .... the world has never been more wonderful since and my ears too...
  9:41pm
T-Zero:

Okay. Well, that's all sorted. Domestic violence incident. Father - son pounding on each other... And this is usually such a quiet place...
  9:49pm
PB:

The worst is yet to come on the Grammys, a tribute to Glen Campbell. It is unfortunate that he has dementia, but is he really an artist worthy of tribute.
  10:13pm
T-Zero:

Great songs for the events going on here... :)
  10:20pm
Bill:

That was a great song - is all the stuff by Twerps as good as that song?
  10:20pm
Martha:

Sounds like it - hope all is settled down; and agree about Glenn Campbell -
  10:22pm
Martha:

Yes, it all is! - amazing band, HIGHLY recommended, hard to segue from that...
  10:23pm
T-Zero:

@Martha: The cops are gone now. Just one EMT van still here. Dad got carted off to jail, son to hospital. Neither of them live here, but were visiting from Tennessee. Ex and son of the building manager of all people (who just got out of hospital), as it turns out.
  10:24pm
T-Zero:

As for the songs.. this has been great. Have been enjoying them all.
  10:24pm
Bill:

Thanks...I am excited to track down their albums.
  10:25pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Greetings Martha and all the listeners.
  10:34pm
Martha:

Hi Richard! Thanks for checking in -
  10:43pm
jeff-m:

not watching the Grammy's , just listening (no longer ) quietly...
  10:44pm
Martha:

Hi Jeff M! - thanks for checking in -
  10:45pm
Martha:

Re: the Grammys. I guess the one thing you can say for them is that they wear their industry showcase identity more openly that most of the other awards shows...
  10:46pm
Music Industry:

Aren't we WONDERFUL???
  10:47pm
Martha:

Yes, of course you are - and you look so good in the mirror!
  10:48pm
Bill:

What's the story witht he Grammy's? Is it a completely somber event? I don't have cable (or TV for that matter).
  10:49pm
Music Industry:

It's better to look good than to feel good. And dahling, WE LOOK MAHVELOUS!

Brother can you spare a PIPA?
  10:50pm
jeff-m:

ADN' group is French btw. Was thinking they were from Belgium. Looked it up. Actually thought they were more of a "historical" band since they got the Vinyl on Demand collected works treatment for their late 70's and 80's stuff
  10:58pm
Martha:

Thanks - was confused by the mixed German/French language -
  11:03pm
jeff-m:

right on, wasn't really trying clarify as much as I got curious. Figured I'd pass it on
  11:38pm
Betsy:

Haha! Micro Penis. Hi Martha!
  11:39pm
Betsy:

Love this Sewn Leather.
  11:44pm
Martha:

Yes - maybe we should go w/ MP for short - and glad you liked the Sewn Leather, kinda remind me of the Drunks w/ Guns/Slicing Grandpa lineage -
  11:46pm
jeff-m:

funny actually looking for that Sewn Leather LP to buy... no luck yet
  11:51pm
Martha:

Yeah, well, it's kinda cryptic even when it's in front of you...
  11:55pm
G:

http://bit.ly/Ax4mUi

That's the page to order the record on, at the Hundebiss label website. 12 euros. 300 copied made. Released Aug 2011.
  11:58pm
jeff-m:

thank you! couldn't quite make it out of their home page. Italian label, explains why all the copies on Discogs are in Europe. Looks like they from Utah though
