FWIW I already pledged and asked for this show's premium as one of my choices.

BTW, congrats on being sponsored for the year by none other than the man Jett Brando mhimself...
  9:35pm EastVanHalen:

I thought it was pretty, no self-loathing required.
  9:36pm PiLA:

  9:38pm xl panties:

  9:38pm EastVanHalen:

Hm, I don't think anyone's ever tried the Newton-John Seduction on me. Marvin Gaye, on the other hand...
  9:39pm jt:

  9:55pm EastVanHalen:

Oh, I loved Sugar once upon a time. Wish I'd managed to see Husker Du.
  9:57pm Barkevious Shabazz:

Astoundingly, Al Stewart is now deeply entrenched in the bear subculture.
  9:57pm jt:

im still trying to figure out that classic husker du sound. the closest i've learned is "he had s roland amp and some other amp and twiddled knobs on the two of them together to get that ridiculous shiny sound"
  9:59pm chad from oregon:

Tonight... tonight is on fire.
  10:00pm Skirkie:

Re: WFMU and wills.

  10:04pm EastVanHalen:

@jt: "Ridiculous shiny sound" I love I love
  10:08pm swe:

C'mon, let's not throw the Whitney out with the bathwater.
  10:09pm Skirkie:

Adele is good for the world, even her "fucking off" for 5 years is somehow refreshing.
  10:10pm Skirkie:

Hold up. Who is Paul McCartney?
10:11pm Tom from Gravesend Bklyn !!:

if he COULD Paul and get out with just an acoustic guitar and say sing "Blackbird" forget it ... I could care less if I missed him ...
  10:13pm Chop Scott:

  10:50pm Parq:

Listening to all this Adele talk, I have a renewed understanding of how my dad must have felt listening to everyone go on and on about Elton John in 1974.
  10:51pm Davice:

Enjoying the show, Pseu!
  10:53pm Chris in Newton:

Great show Pseu, love the sell out
  10:54pm Davice in Andover:

  10:55pm Chris in Newton:

Great. Surprisingly warm... An easy winter.
  10:57pm Davice in Andover:

I am missing the snow this year. Rt 206 isn't the same without it!
  10:59pm spaniel:

  11:16pm Skirkie:

I remember this as a "K-Mart song" as in it played at K-Mart a lot when I worked there in high school.
  11:19pm ethyl mormon:

never hear the green pajama's on fmu...what a treat!
  11:34pm Skirkie:

Oh damn. This. ♥
  11:35pm Skirkie:

Which I also feel bad for liking.
  11:36pm EastVanHalen:

@Skirkie: Might as well just give in.
  11:38pm G:

Just because tons of people with mediocre taste happen to like something, doesn't mean you can't like it for your own reasons.
  11:41pm Destroit:

way late, out having fun. Hello Pseu and everyone...
  11:43pm Skirkie:

Well for that particular song, (Hackensack) I had come to like and then grow tired of with Fountains of Wayne long before.
  11:44pm EastVanHalen:

Katy Perry was on one of the Jools Holland shows about five years back and I liked her. I'm at peace with it.
  11:50pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks for the fine show tonight. Good luck with the marathon shows.
  11:51pm ethyl mormon:

katy perry has attained a wfmu-friendly zenith of tackiness
  11:57pm EastVanHalen:

Fabulous show. Thanks.
  11:58pm Chris in Philly:

bravo...merrymakers, nice song.
  12:01am G:

being mean to rich. so unlike you!
  7:16pm G:

I got curious about "I Started a Blog". It's actually track three on "Modern Gameplay" (2007), the second CD by the Sprites, a group from Maryland. bccccl is a youtube channel that posted the song with visuals.
  7:23pm G:

Probably the last CD by the Sprites. Their main website (as listed on wikipedia) is gone, and their myspace hasn't been logged in to since mid-2009.
