You can comment on Jim Price at the time he's on, but you have to look up the playlist! :)

Jim Price show (with bonus dog tail-wagging action):
  3:07pm joe:

  3:08pm joe:

I'll be damned the tail really does wag.
  3:09pm Danne D:

Now we have to make Scott wag his tail, er um I mean wag the dog wag its tail for Scott

  3:12pm a.goose:

  3:13pm Danne D:

Thank Pierre :) There's lots of ways to pledge :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm Scott W:

  3:13pm Thomas:

  3:14pm Danne D:

  3:14pm a.goose:

my oh my that light show tune is melting my face
  3:14pm pierre:

Right now I'm on a bus, but in a moment my money will be used for a great purpose.
  3:16pm Danne D:

I sometimes forget that it's not the same time for everyone on this board :) Scott is the night-time DJ in Europe
  3:16pm (Tel Aviv, Israel,Earth,Milky Way):

my oh my that i've never been to me tune is melting my face
  3:17pm (Tel Aviv, Israel,Earth,Milky Way):

  3:18pm Danne D:

Haven't looked at the marathon map in a while. Learning new things like Midland Park is in South Africa ;) (probably just a proxy thing I guess)
  3:19pm a.goose:

masturbation denial varispeed vibes! excellent!
  3:19pm Van in DC:

lol haven't heard this in like ever.
  3:20pm Danne D:

If you are a fan of Big Blood you really need to pledge to Scott - you know that he hipped you to them probably a decade before anyone else :)
  3:22pm BSI:

Hooray for blood of all sizes!
  3:22pm Musikoff:

$91.1 x 4 = MOUSE!
  3:24pm dc pat:

man, beautiful tune...
  3:24pm fred:

@Danne D: I just looked at the map and was surprised to see a Jersey City in Southernish France. Global domination indeed
  3:24pm Danne D:

Only 2 states are missing from the marathon map - would be great if we could get pledges from those 2 states during Scott's show!
  3:25pm Detroit Mac:

Once again... I've pledged in one lump sum and then discovered that I cannot break it down to smaller donations so I might send supporting shout-outs to all my favorite DJs (without making Joe McG work to reset my online pledge business) so I am just saying THANKS, Scott. (I wish could pledge more - but after 23 years listening and many-many pledged years of FMU dollars later, right now most of my spare change is going to my son's college!)
  3:26pm glenn:

oh oh. bryce and scott together. is vicki bennet anywhere around?
  3:27pm dc pat:

where's the vodka?? How come nobody drinks shots of vodka for pledges anymore, sheesh...
  3:28pm glenn:

jeez, he should be working 3 jobs to put himself through college, so you can pledge more.
  3:29pm Secret Service:

Here we come!!
  3:29pm Van in DC:

Wow, the FBI just so suddenly tuned in lol
  3:29pm glenn:

just tell them you said PRECEDENT.
  3:30pm Danne D:

@Detroit Mac it's all good - it all benefits the station :) I'll be slowing down my sprinkling in week 2 myself :)

Next time around you could do a prize account (checking the box on the pledge form - I usually check the box and add a comment to make doubly sure)
  3:30pm BSI:

  3:30pm MD:

PLease don't say thean President remark again....I want you guys to reach your goal....!!!!XOXO!!!!
  3:30pm Skirkie:

Oh calm down, feds. He didn't say WHICH president.
  3:31pm MD:

  3:31pm Van in DC:

He said he wanted DEAD PRESIDENTS people...MONEY! :)
  3:33pm Ike:

He was talking about the President OF FRISKY CAT FOOD Corporation. So, no worries.
  3:35pm hamburger:

or as Andy Breckman would say / it doesn't matter, nobody (worthy) is listening.. :)
  3:35pm Ike:

You just couldn't hear the "of the Cat Food Corporation" part because of, um, ehh, errr, ummm, a technical error. Yeah. That's it. A technical problem. That's the ticket.
  3:36pm Danne D:

Pledge $5 for every instrument that Bryce has played during past Hoof N Mouths (of course that's like $365) :)
  3:37pm Cecile:

  3:37pm Danne D:

@Ike non-commercial station - therefore they couldn't reference Friskies
  3:38pm Detroit Mac:

Thanks for the nice words Danne D. It is hard to listen and hear the DJs wail for funds, and not be able to spread my meager crumbs around. It also means I cannot get in the running for those "on the spot" pledge give-aways...
(How many more FMU T-Shirts can I hide in my closet from my family?)
  3:39pm BSI:

my karma, she is clean for another year!
  3:39pm dc pat:

HOLY CRAP, wednesday's Leap Day! Head smack! Totally forgot.
  3:40pm Mr. Orange:

luv the show
  3:40pm hamburger:

  3:43pm dc pat:

amazing tune, best SY hands down.
  3:45pm Cecile:

I'm shocked at how well it's held up.
  3:45pm dc pat:

it always sounded like the bells of doom to me..
  3:47pm Cecile:

They sound as scared as anyone would be in that situation. Like they're waking up from a horrible dream right in the middle of the carnage and going, 'how did I get here?'
  3:49pm pierre:

Oh i love Pierre Vassiliu ! We share a lot !
  3:55pm Listener Bryan:

That would be Bryan from across the river. In the Village. Viva le Scott!
  3:56pm fred:

@pierre: why don't you throw in $15 more during Nat's show instead of that beer license payment you volunteered?
  3:59pm pierre:

i can do both Fred ! :)
I've just gave my pledge to ScottW.
  3:59pm BSI:

FYI: Sonic Circuits locked groove LP artists include:

  4:00pm Skirkie:

Is this Alex Chilton an LP or CD?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm Scott W:

CD, Skirkie
  4:03pm fred:

@pierre: I don't like the way the marathon is going. The station needs a pledge more than I want a beer
  4:07pm Danne D:

Love this Dream Syndicate song - everyone remember the awesome job Scott did on this last year at Hoof N Mouth?
Note to self - #29.
  4:08pm pierre:

@fred : I imagine.
  4:09pm BSI:

....beer? whut? *slaps forehead*
THAT'S what this office has been missing all this time!
  4:09pm fred:

@pierre: did you get the info about tomorrow's non jazz gig?
  4:11pm Madi H.:

There is no loud enough!~!

  4:16pm Danne D:

  4:17pm Danne D:

  4:18pm MattHope_:

  4:22pm Danne D:

Bianca Bob :) another super volunteer and FMU friendly face
  4:23pm pierre:

@fred : I did! I'm totally going.

@ Scott
  4:23pm Skirkie:

President? I hope I'm not the one Bryce wants to kill.
  4:23pm Minnesota Jeff:

  4:23pm fred:

@pierre: I'll see you there then!
  4:23pm BSI:

mouse pledges paid monthly are not eligible to adopt stuff though, rite? ... [heaves enormous sigh] ... ah well. Life goes on... snif...
  4:24pm Danne D:

Congrats Jeff!
  4:24pm Danne D:

congrats Andre :)

Sorry BSI :(
  4:25pm Minnesota Jeff:

Did I win the Alex Chilton? My phone was ringing and interuppted my radio hearing.
  4:25pm Cecile:

BSI, they are enough. I was able to adopt Jason with one.
  4:26pm Danne D:

Adopt scott: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wfmu/3270350625/in/set-72157603873576097
  4:27pm BSI:

[leaps in batmobile, rockets off to the flickr gallery]
  4:27pm Danne D:

@Jeff - yes you did lucky sir!
  4:27pm Caryn:

@Cecile: but the adoption page says that only pledges "paid in full" are eligible for adoption, so that would mean pledges paid monthly aren't? I'd like to know, because I'd like to adopt a comment board, but am not sure if I can with a monthly pledge...
  4:30pm Cecile:

Ask Joe McGasko. I've been able to do it. So, I don't know if it changed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm bryce:

jeff, yes — mr. chilton!
  4:32pm Minnesota Jeff:

Caryn - I adopted Kurt's comment board this year with a $180 payment in full. But last year I was able to included it in my Mouse of Today Pledge, which I paid monthly.

I LOVE CHILTON! :: karate kicks ::
  4:34pm Cecile:

you did, MN Jeff? Are you going to keep doing GIFs?
  4:36pm Minnesota Jeff:

MN JEFF .Gif's 2012: Til the Break of Dawn
  4:38pm Cecile:

  4:41pm wigwambam:

  4:42pm Kenzo:

To clarify: The "paid in full" requirement DOES include monthly pledges! What it doesn't include is "bill me later."
  4:44pm Minnesota Jeff:

Oh man, Cochin Moon is an A-MA-ZING album. Man of man, is it good.
  4:44pm Kenzo:

Actually, what am I talking about. It even works for "bill me later." Anyone can adopt a DJ, $180 or more.
  4:44pm Looms:

Can't wait to get the Scottify, sounds good!
  4:44pm BSI:

Splendid. Thanks Kenzo. I've sent my request for virtual lordship...
  4:44pm 12539:

(Three cheers for the all-seeing, all-knowing, beneficent Kenzo!)
  4:45pm Cecile:

My mom is somewhere to the right of Rick Santorum. I gave up looking for validation years ago. I will live vicariously for Scott. Scott's mom, pledge!
  4:46pm 12539:

But isn't it $365 for a DJ and $180 for an object?
  4:46pm Kenzo:

And by "$180 or more," I mean that's for adopting fixtures. Adopting DJ's is $365 or more. I'll be quiet now.
  4:46pm Kenzo:

Kenzo is neither all-seeing nor all-knowing. believe me.
  4:46pm Cecile:

BSI said he was devoting a mouse pledge to it, so it's all good.
  4:48pm Minnesota Jeff:

I can only find 1 copy of 'Cochin Moon' on Ebay and its currently at $75 - may as well just get Scotts premium and enjoy the best song on the album - and so much more!
  4:49pm Danne D:

I'm glad that I did my adopting earlier as this is all making my head hurt :)

Btw, Kenzo, there were folks (not me) posting about wanting an Adoptable Kenzo.
  4:50pm Minnesota Jeff:

Kenzo's a hit! Kids love his wacky web ways! Adopt Kenzo!
  4:50pm Kenzo:

Someone adopted Dan Bodah's playlist comments board. That's close enough.
  4:51pm Danne D:

Kenzo is the maker of worlds (particularly these commenter worlds)
  4:51pm Danne D:

LOL Kenzo - Just wanted to give you a heads up :)
  4:52pm wigwambam:

I'm Julie from Rockville. What did I just win? Just came back and heard the tail end of a drawing saying I won something.
  4:52pm Caryn:

BTW, with my pledge, I had to get the "Scottify!" premium. Looking forward to it arriving in the mail some day!
  4:53pm Danne D:

You won Stuff, Julie :)
  4:54pm wigwambam:

Cool! Stuff! Although I kinda really want that Carnival of Souls DVD...
  4:54pm BSI:

OH HEY, the Criterion release of Carnival of Souls is excellent. The transfer is sparkly awesome clear. Marvelous package. Highly recommended.
  4:56pm wigwambam:

Seriously debating whether I should pledge again to get the CoS DVD...hmmm...how much do we have to pledge to get in the drawing (again)?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm Scott W:

ohhhhh wigwambam, there ain't no question. $15 or more
  4:59pm Danne D:

What did she win btw, Scott, I was kidding her but you guys know what prize Julie from Rockville actually won - Bryce? :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:01pm bryce:

julie! you gots the gilberto gil cd: "Expresso2222"
  5:02pm wigwambam:

Okay I just made another pledge to get in the CoS DVD drawing...kinda pathetic, but you know. WFMU is worth it.
  5:04pm Danne D:

@wigwambam nothing pathetic about supporting great radio :)
  5:04pm wigwambam:

  5:04pm efd:

I clean two of the bathroom sinks every Wednesday night at about five minutes past midnight.
  5:05pm wigwambam:

You are a brave soul and unsung hero, efd.
  5:07pm Monk:

Who knows what detritus builds up around those sink drains. Think about it. Wear gloves.
  5:07pm Danne D:

FMU runs on love, duct tape, and pledges :)

It sorely needs the latter: 800-989-9368
  5:07pm Ric:

WFMU - It's the weird Woodstock of radio.
  5:08pm Caryn:

Okay, after a week of listening to pledge pleas and looking longingly at swag, I've surrendered. Can't afford it, but tomorrow morning will try to sell some stuff to see if I can get money together to afford a pledge.
  5:08pm Ike:

A certain WFMU staffer re-labeled the inoffensive "adult alternative" public radio format as "strollercore" -- HA! -- MUCH more accurate! Pledge for the coining of the word "strollercore!"
  5:10pm efd:

I will say that a very very very small percent of your pledge dollars goes toward latex gloves and cleanser.
  5:10pm glenn:

i'm almost pledged out. i probably have about 50 rolls of various construction tapes. i can send those, and love.
  5:11pm wigwambam:

Someone should write a wikipedia entry for "strollercore," like someone briefly did for "crabcore."
  5:15pm seang:

cool Caryn!

Can I just say that I would so go to Scott Thompson or Scott Williams for my holiday!
  5:35pm pierre:

I guess it's super normal efd
  5:43pm moose:

  5:44pm T-Zero:

  5:50pm moose:

thank you !
  5:54pm T-Zero:

You're welcome!
  5:56pm Caryn:

Come on, a final rush to pledge! 11 % to go!
  5:58pm Cecile:

aw, you guys are too nice.
  5:58pm pierre:

I love mueran humanos, does that counts?
  5:59pm Reno:
