  1:43pm KWE:

  1:46pm KWE:

  1:48pm KWE:

  1:48pm Cecile:

didn't kraut submit their video to the MTV video contest? I seem to remember seeing them in some kind of context on there.
  1:48pm Chris from DC:

yay, Kraut.
  1:49pm joe:

As a Jersey boy I want to know were we went wrong going from this great stuff to guys that looked like they belonged on my high school football team beating up people smoking cigarettes.
  1:49pm KWE:

  1:50pm joe:

Cecile I belive Kraut got played a little bit on MTV because at the time MTV was just really deperate for material
  1:50pm Cecile:

thanks KWE! That's why I saw them
  1:50pm KWE:

  1:51pm joe:

The video for "All Twisted" from that album appeared in rotation on MTV, the first independent band to be played on MTV
  1:51pm KWE:

  1:52pm Cecile:

  2:00pm joe:

  2:02pm Rob (from Mt Hope):

Didn't see AOD until 1988, little dump in Middletown, NY, but they did have some great shows
  2:06pm joe:

Oh oh getting excited keep talking
  2:11pm KWE:

  2:11pm Cecile:

yeah, that book and movie had lots of holes. I'm just a punk fellow traveller, but there were some big omissions.
  2:15pm Cecile:

They should have just published the 24 Hours of hardcore playlist up on his site, that's VERY comprehensive.
  2:17pm Cecile:

but I didn't know that much NY hardcore, so it's great hearing some of these songs for the first time.
  2:17pm KWE:

  2:21pm joe:

What did the Necros get like 45 seconds in the movie? And does Negative Approach even get mentioned?
  2:21pm Jason:

  2:22pm Rob (from Mt Hope):

"NYHC" stickers on the coin drops at the GSP tolls
  2:22pm joe:

Cecile I'm not familier with this list you speak of please enlighen me?
  2:23pm Cecile:

Yeah, the Necros WERE Midwest hardcore.

Steven Blush has a list online called 24 Hours of Hardcore Punk. I didnt' know who the hell Steven Blush was (even though I owned the movie at one time - before my house got burgled), so I googled him and that came up. Huge list of songs!
  2:25pm KWE:

u can only listen to the songs now but @ 1st u could download them.....
  2:26pm joe:

I was just going to post a question about Mutha. LOL. My ex wifes cousin was in a band on Mutha....Youth In Asia.

  2:55pm Cheri Pi:

  2:55pm BSI:

Crap, I missed Sacred Denial. That LP got heavy play at casa BSI about six million years ago.
  2:55pm Costa:

Actually just getting back to the stream for the first time since Holy Rollers. Clearly I've missed a classic show. Will now start the queue at the Archive door....
  2:58pm Cheri Pi:
