Monica; for your back you might try lying on your back and raise your legs so your calves rest on a flat surface like a box or low table so that your thighs are at a 90 deg. angle from your back and lower legs at 90 degrees from your upper legs. Try that position for about 15 minutes. The first couple minutes might be uncomfortable until things adjust
  7:42pm
miss cheri:

monica try some icey hot or ben gay,,
  7:42pm
listener gary:

in re: your back. Lie on the floor on your back. Bring your knees up to your chest. Wrap your arms around your knees. Gently rock from side to side. Release your arms. Extend your legs back to a resting position. Arms over head. Stretch your legs and arms as long as you can. Bring your arms back to your sides, and relax. Repeat four of five or six or more times throughout the day. Best regards, Dr. Listener Gary.
  7:43pm

There's that app for listening to songs that are playing that you don't know and telling you what there are. Now they just need an app for visually recognizing partially obscured cover art.

Can you tell us the song that plays behind you?
  5:43pm
spaniel:

Love your show, always, Monica. Re back pain, Tom Scharpling and Ken I've heard recommend a book that seems to have a sort of cult following (I don't remember the title). I remember Tom saying something like "it's all just stress". I.e. stress is the root cause. I was floating in the ocean and had a stiff neck last week and started thinking about this and let myself completely relax my body and it helped. So find yourself and ocean and float in it, Monica!
