Listener comments!

  12:05am
Skirkie:

Well I was curious about Spiritualized being on Fat Possum all the sudden, but I guess this is sorta Fat Possumy.
  12:33am
G:

Hey, you can just never get enough Sacred Bones.
Avatar 12:42am
Therese:

I'm with you, G. I just like to spread it around a bit more.

And Skirkie- I think Spiritualized anticipated the Fat Possum reaction. The first track is called "Huh?"
  12:59am
Droll:

The stream icht kaput, but the Accu-playlist and YouTube work. Make-Your-Own-Simulcast this way is like a cheap version of MTV with FMU VJ's you never see. [Adding my own MTV-Astronaut bumper music here]
  1:02am
Droll:

[Playing own bed music under own back announce. WFMU East Orange, WXHD Mount Hope.]
  1:06am
G:

FWIW, I'm hearing the stream fine via DSL in Brooklyn....
  1:13am
darue:

that's enterprise that never went up, fyi :-)
  1:13am
Roberto:

Raining on your parade: Enterprise, not Endeavour
  1:15am
G:

Highly illogical :-)
  1:19am
Roberto:

At least it was rain and not some other liquid.
  1:20am
Bad Guy Zero:

Hi everyone. Show in San Antonio ended earlier than I expected. As long as the 4G holds up I'll get to listen to the rest of the show on the way back to Dallas. :-D
Avatar 1:20am
Therese:

Is anyone else having stream issues?
  1:25am
Droll:

I guess my computer got jealous of the FMU outage earlier and now wants to play sick, too. After random flailing with computer buttons and levers Therese is back.
This just means the computers are now conspiring against me again.
Avatar 1:26am
Therese:

There are many copies, Droll. And they have a Plan.
  1:26am
G:

And I think Roberto just promised not to give us any stream issues.
Avatar 1:27am
Therese:

BGZ- how long is that drive?
  1:31am
G:

BGZ is probably just listening while highway driving. It's about 250 miles from San Ant to Dallas.
  1:31am
G:

From NYC to DC roughly. Texas is big :-)
Avatar 1:33am
Therese:

Yeah, I was thinking it was something along those lines. I went to San Antonio as a kid and remember changing planes in Dallas. And the Alamo.
  1:36am
G:

So you remember the Alamo? Your grade school history teacher would qvell :-)
Avatar 1:40am
Therese:

I remember that it doesn't have a basement.
  1:43am
Droll:

The Alamo most certainly has a basement, it's not on the blueprints which is part of the conspiracy. Conspiracy, you see, is everywhere, if you just look for it everywhere.
  1:49am
G:

I does have ADA accessible lavatories, though
  1:50am
PhilK:

I am actually listening in San Antonio (iphone app works), and am LOLing at your comments!
  1:50am
G:

It [gettin' late]
Avatar 1:53am
Therese:

Next you'll tell me that Ozzy Osbourne WASN'T kicked out of Texas for peeing on the Alamo's steps.
  1:53am
PhilK:

Dallas is so far away, I don't consider it part of TX. It's south Oklahoma to me!
  1:54am
G:

I was waiting for someone to say that, Phil, so I didn't have to as an outsider :-)
  1:55am
G:

Dallas is is as close to Tulsa as it is to San An.
  2:03am
PhilK:

I just GoogleMaps'd that G, and you're right! I feel dumb that I never noticed, but I don't have much reason to travel that far north by car. I don't even go much father than Austin because traffic is horrible!
  2:05am
G:

To drive 250 miles around here, I have to go across the states of NY, NJ, DEL, MD, and into DC -- 250 miles. :-)
  2:09am
Droll:

Brooklyn NY to Syracuse NY is 250mi.
  2:10am
Droll:

. o O (Brooklyn to Buffalo is 400mi)
  2:12am
G:

There are still cities upstate? I thought they'd all depopulated and western NYS had become part of the rust belt midwest. :-) Didn't I hear somewhere that Syracuse was now part of Ohio? :-)

OK, I've actually driven to Buffalo. That's a long day of driving!
  2:16am
Bad Guy Zero:

App is in constant buffer mode. Archive listening in my future.

Tulsa backwards is "a slut."
  2:18am
PhilK:

Nevermind Ozzy's Alamo peeing incident; the real story is Phil Collins' Alamo obsession. Apparantly, he owns the largest private collection of Alamo memorabilia in the world.
  2:22am
PhilC:

There must be some misunderstanding. There must be some kind of mistake.
  2:31am
Droll:

Ozzy peed on Phil Collins at the Alamo? I'm sure he deserved it for the Invisible Touch.
  2:33am
PhilK:

This is no conspiracy, Therese! http://frontrow.dmagazine.com/2010/05/phil-collins%E2%80%99-alamo-obsession/
Avatar 2:35am
Therese:

Wow. I had no idea, PhilK!
  2:38am
alberto:

thanks a lot bad guy zero! ...now i'm trying to figure out how to turn that knowledge into a pallendrome...hmmmmm....
  2:39am
alberto:

err..palindrome.
  7:05am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Home at last! All parties involved survived today's little metal road trip. We spent more time on the road than at the actual show. But it was worth it. Some great stories originated (I fed Watain!). I'm looking forward to listening to all these tunes. Therese, you spoil us on a weekly basis. :)
