If I may, Bill. The Pretty Things record with the round top was S.F. Sorrow. Maybe you were thinking of Blues Obituary from The Groundhogs? I dunno, maybe my ears are clouding up again and I heard wrong
Avatar 3:57am
Bill Mac:

No you were correct it was SF Sorrow. I had that one. You might have missed the comments I made about Dave Edmunds group Love Sculpture. I don't recall for sure whether I've seen that album but it seems it was also a roundie.
  4:00am
Gary:

Yes, forgot about that one. Haven't played that but once or twice. Forms and Feelings is the one to get, though.

  4:16am
KP:

Funny to hear SF Sorrow as i'm bundling up copies of a tribute to it that my band is on. the Pretty Things themselves have contributed a song, Phil and Dick wrote the liner notes and gave it its title, "Sorrow's Children." It's on Fruits de Mer Records. Hopefully some copies will make their way to Jersey City.
Avatar 4:20am
Bill Mac:

Is that a new release? I know there's another one out there and I'd like to hear that one. New PT tune to boot?! Greet!

Just dipping back in. Usual story, doggo. Did you mention Sabre Dance by Love Sculpture? I remember John Peel playing it on his show the first time. He had to play it again later in the same show it was so powerful.
