G:

"parama hansa" is Sanskrit for "total/complete swan", and in Buddhist terminology means someone who has attained enlightenment...

  9:43pm

Checking in from Paradise, Pennsylvania. It's quiet here, a perfect place for listening to this music.
  9:46pm
G:

Hello, M in Pennsylvania, where it is not yet bedtime...
Ahhh, the night shift, Dinatekno... Glad to have you onboard this evening!

Not all families that record together stay together, look at Sonny & Cher or Ike & Tina Turner

Qft:

What happened to the cherry blossom clinic? Is it not around anymore? Is it still in the archives?
  10:28pm
Qft:

@?: it still is, yes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:30pm
D. Blumin:

? - it's on Sats 3-6pm - today was a fill-in situation! And the archives are an affirmative as well...
  10:38pm
?:

Ok I have the wfmu android app which is great. I didn't see the cherry blossom clinic on the schedule on the app maybe I overlooked it?

So what are the best punk shows on wfmu? I like Diane's kamikaze fun machine, but that is kind of a mix of punk and metal which is fine I like both. Is there a straight up punk show though and if there is what's it called.

I wish I knew the title of the show where clay pigeon took over strength through failure and was subjecting fabio to some horrible music, it was pretty funny.
  10:47pm
Tony:

@? For punk I would check out Pat Duncan's archives.
  10:58pm
mix master mike:

nice...
  11:02pm
G:

@D. Blumin 9:51: Sorry, was on a long phone call to Los Angeles... I live in Brooklyn, but know many people in Europe that I stay in touch with, and have lived there myself, so I know the time differences pretty well...
  11:06pm
G:

@?: Tony's right. Duncan was on weekly as recently as the late 00s, but not a few of his shows in the 00s (archiving started around 2000) are actually replays of live punk sets from the 80s and 90s...
