Howdy!
"Yes maam" , heh. Ted, were you raised in the south? As a born & bred Yankee who's lived in NC since 1990, I still HATE when I'm maamed. Especially when I get the sarcastic undertone...
Avatar 8:27pm
Ted:

From St. Louis and I only say it with respect.
  8:29pm
Holly in NC:

Well then you're just a gentleman, plain & simple :-)
Avatar 8:33pm
Ted:

I hate it when I get called "Sir," but only because it makes me feel old.
  8:34pm
G:

Is "Baron" acceptable? :-)
Avatar 8:35pm
Ted:

Sure thing

Debbie D:

I got a whippin' if I didn't say sir and maam. Still hate it to this day.

I should've played "Ive Been To Georgia on a Fast Train" for you Debbie.
  9:24pm
Debbie D:

I saw BR5-49 perform that one in Nashville once!

Fiveash:

Greetings, Baron von Theodore. So bummed about Duck Dunn. As one of my bass player friends recently said, "he wrote the book".
Avatar 9:37pm
Ted:

Yep. Hey Matt, we're back to tag team next week. It's permanent!
  9:38pm

Ted, are you moving to Thursday afternoons?
Avatar 9:45pm
Ted:

Yes I am. (I almost said ma'am)
  9:48pm
Fiveash:

I will always love this Otis at Monterey. When I was 12 years old I asked for some Jimi Hendrix for Xmas and got the cassette with Jimi at Monterey on one side and Otis on the other. To say that it changed my life would be an understatement...
Avatar 9:48pm
Ted:

It's incendiary!
  9:52pm
Fiveash:

Those hippies didn't know what hit 'em!
  9:55pm
Holly in NC:

Yay, sir! Seriously :-) Now I can listen to you & efd in full, with full attention.
@fiveash - my Monterey lp is *almost* unplayable...so beat, so well-loved...

Debbie D:

Rock Block! (Sorry).
