The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

Did somebody brush with me?
  6:02pm
Danne D:

I actually have one for the topic. I may or may not call though.
  6:02pm
Dan B From Upstate:

The Bathroom Games
  6:02pm
Danne D:

Oh then I might not call since I probably did a lame call the 1st time.
  6:03pm
kat330:

Youse guys are repeating every show I called in to in 2004 (which includes only two total)!
  6:04pm
G:

A few moments ago, Andy was literally full of crap. Now, he is full of crap in a figurative fashion. :-)

Irwin:

I impersonated the creator of MONK on a soon-to-be-defunct social networking site!
  6:06pm
Lizardner Dave:

Ken's show vs. Andy's Ipod has also already been done. Summer repeats start this week.
  6:06pm
G:

@LD: Well, Memorial Day is upon us, really...
  6:07pm
Hugh:

Must be last time "American Pie" aired. (?)
  6:07pm
Lizardner Dave:

And that reminds me. Good night!
  6:07pm
Danne D:

The listeners experience pain every week, yet I don't think any of us have the record sales that James Taylor did.
  6:08pm
kat330:

Any contact with The Donald would be more a comb-over than a brush with.
  6:08pm
Danne D:

Ooh - I pointed out Andy's advanced billing :) And that he's a secret hippie cuz it was a no nukes show :)

I didn't really have any brushes with fame. A few friendships, a few relationships, a few in-betweens. But no brushes. Oh well.
  6:14pm
Caryn:

All of my "brushes with fame" have been with more niche celebrities, or "the drummer from..." so I think those wouldn't work.
  6:14pm
Danne D:

That's cool that they'll have a guy who sharpens pencils on the show since the way Andy's career is going he'll soon be selling pencils.
  6:15pm
pierre:

Bonsoir all!!

i know somebody who met a Hollywood director trying to buy glue in Paris...

Can you guess who it was?
  6:15pm
Danne D:

Dang :( I'm gonna miss out on two counts then :( Hopefully I'll miss out cuz I'm going to Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals :) Go Devils!
  6:16pm
Dan B From Upstate:

If you don't want a good fill in, why would you ask Tim Lacy to fill in for you? Dude's amazing.
  6:16pm
kat330:

Andy kept guessing Elliott Gould the first time around in 2004. Now he's updated to Kiefer.
  6:17pm
Listener zero:

kat330: Actually, Andy did guess Kiefer routinely the last time they did this. Am blanking on the exact date right now, though.
  6:18pm
Caryn:

If one of these is Elliott Gould, Andy's going to kick himself.
  6:19pm
Caryn:

I am whistling a classic sitcom theme tune now...
  6:20pm
kat330:

@LZ: Really? Hm. Well, maybe the one I called into in 2004 was a repeat and THIS is a 3peat? That 2004 show was -- let me check...
  6:21pm
kat330:

June 23, 2004.
  6:21pm
Danne D:

okay I did my lame story - I think it was suitably mysterious
  6:22pm
Danne D:

LOL Kat - did I call into that show too?
  6:22pm
Danne D:

If you know my name on twitter I'll entertain your guesses :)
  6:23pm
Listener zero:

kat330: They did this concept at least two times before. Btw – one of those times, Ken would not explain what "champagne dancing" meant, thanks to Andy's jerkiness throughout the show. I still wonder.
  6:23pm
Danne D:

I think I dropped reasonable enough hints that could get a proper guess. But I don't think Ken or Andy will get it.
  6:23pm
kat330:

I haven't gone back to listen since I know who you are, Danne!
  6:24pm
Danne D:

The best would be if someone had a brush with Don McLean and called in with that :)
  6:24pm
Danne D:

It's plausible that I used it. I've told the story enough times before to think it's possible.
  6:25pm
Danne D:

This show is like Match Game except that there's nothing funny as a set up for the word ______________
  6:25pm
G:

@Danne: Do they have to have gotten a dick autograph (as Don charmingly puts it)?
  6:25pm
Caryn:

Boring trivia: one of the girls from Bananarama married Andrew Ridgeley (the non-George Michael one) from WHAM!
  6:25pm
kat330:

And the ONLY other show I've ever called into was February 25, 2004: The 50 States Show, which they just did again a few weeks ago. Weird.
  6:27pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Todd Pettengil grew up near where I grew up. We're not proud.
  6:27pm
Danne D:

@G lol :)

@Caryn that's disappointing.
  6:28pm
kat330:

"Wasted Time"!!
  6:30pm
Philo Gristle:

I did come across David Lynch and the very small actor from Twin Peaks in 1992. But there's no story involved as it was at a film festival.
  6:32pm
Caryn:

Met Scotty from "Star Trek" once. But it was at a scifi convention, so it's not much of a story either.
  6:33pm
Caryn:

If no. 2 is Don MacLean, I'll plotz.
  6:35pm
Carmichael:

I met James Coburn once about 20 years ago. No, more like 30. Yikes. See you later, everyone.
  6:38pm
vanya:

my g-d, ken and andy are hilarious!
  6:39pm
Philo Gristle:

Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks was the babysitter to one of my best friends... but I never met him so it doesn't count.
  6:40pm
Caryn:

I've seen some NHL players naked or in speedos. But again, more of a niche celebrity thing.
  6:41pm
kat330:

Sounds like Charles Grodin.
  6:42pm
miss cheri:

hiya danne & caryn-- i met judy carne & also yvonne craig,,but seprate times and they were really nice!!
  6:42pm
Hugh:

Famous guitarist and famous singer backstage at Iggy Pop show. Famous guitarist signaled to security to have me booted from backstage area. Ta -DA!
  6:42pm
kat330:

@Caryn Do tell!
  6:45pm
Danne D:

I wonder if anyone got my Opie and Anthony reference during my call...
  6:45pm
Caryn:

@kat: most seen naked in hockey arena locker rooms when I was in elementary school (the dad of one of my friends was the head custodian there and we had behind-the-scenes access). One vacationed in Greece at the same time as my family. Ended up at a water park at the same time and he and his girlfriend. He spent some time standing around in his speedos signing autographs.
  6:47pm
kat330:

No one noticed children within eyesight?? Wow. I thought you were going to tell us you moonlight as a sports journalist! :)
  6:48pm
Danne D:

@cheri you should call in with your story - it'd be good for the show
  6:49pm
quinn:

Once I saw the guy who plays Hank on Twin Peaks in a bookstore. He was wearing a T-shirt that said "Lookin' good, feelin' good". 2004, Texas.
  6:50pm
Caryn:

@kat: well, we kinda tended to peek in the doorway or walk past the locker rooms and glance inside. Sometimes players just tended to be naked.
  6:50pm
Danne D:

Hey Ken, is Andy eligible to win your 3-hour slot prize?
  6:50pm
John McCabe in L.A.:

it was a library Ken
  6:51pm
kat330:

@quinn: Are you THE Miss 7SD?!
  6:51pm
Caryn:

PG might like this brush with fame, but no-one else would care: we were one of the first families in Finland to get "The Blues Brothers" on VHS, because we got our copy from Cisse Häkkinen, who was a friend of a friend.
  6:51pm
cral:

i saw silvester stalone once with bodygaurds and i thought why does silvester need a bodyguard? he has such big arms
  6:53pm
kat330:

@Caryn: Wellll, I suggested PG call in with this one: Our trip to Finland in 2002, we had the President walk right past us, and she smiled and nodded. :) Another boring airport story.
  6:53pm
John McCabe in L.A.:

@ cral i met silvester stalone too at McDonalds
  6:54pm
Philo Gristle:

Ha! WFMU ever play Hurriganes? My dad worked briefly with Topi Sorsakoski at the Xerox warehouse. Never met him myself.
  6:55pm
Danne D:

It could be Tony Danza. "Who's the Boss?"
  6:56pm
Caryn:

@kat: hey, at least it's a head of state! Have a bunch of Finnish celebrity stories, but they would mean nothing to the rest of the world.
  6:58pm
Danne D:

This is the best part of the show.
  6:58pm
Patrick:

since when is tom waits a celebrity?
  6:59pm
Danne D:

Muhammad Ali rules
  6:59pm
Caryn:

I could see Bill Murray discussing discount coupons...
  7:00pm
Danne D:

ding! 1 point for me
  7:00pm
Danne D:

Good night all :) GO DEVILS!
  7:00pm
?:

You're the best, Danne!
  7:00pm
Philo Gristle:

G'night! Danne wins!
  7:00pm
Caryn:

Yeah, you wouldn't flip The Boss the bird! Had to be Danza.
  7:00pm
obo:

wait, who was the growler?
  7:01pm
obo:

pissy Eddie Money was funny
  7:01pm
Caryn:

@obo: Tom Waits
  7:02pm
obo:

hahaha, thanks!
  7:03pm
Caryn:

Of course, with Waits, he might have just been speaking normally for him. To others, though, it sounds like a growl.
  7:03pm
obo:

haha, what a Rain Dog!
  11:40am
Lizardner Dave:

Listening on archive, surprised it took Andy half an hour to get to the rape jokes with this topic....
  3:14pm
Listener Julian:

Ken, could the next detention episode please be boiler stories? Come on. Do it for the listeners.
