Good afternoon Scott
  3:05pm
Dave in PA:

OK I think I missed something - there is a one minute show from 3pm to 3:01 pm on WFMU? I'm not normally able to listen at those times...
  3:06pm
fred:

@Dave in PA: Indeed, Jim Price's
  3:07pm
Dave in PA:

That's a great idea...
  3:08pm
fred:

But don't worry, the archives are there if you miss one.
  3:09pm
Dave in PA:

How much do I have to donate to WFMU next year to get a one second show from 3:01:00 to 3:01:01?

Bonsoir Scott W
  3:18pm
fred:

Salut pierre! Too bad I couldn't find you. It turned out my t-shirt had the right beard color
  3:21pm
pierre:

@ fred : whoa (as usual) there was so many people there, terriby difficult to see anyone.

did you heard the the field gig ?
  3:21pm
pierre:

@ Scott : Did you packed your stuff for Barcelona ?
  3:23pm
fred:

Yeah. Much better than mouse on mars, but I'm not sure the conditions were right. It was so hot.
  3:24pm
fred:

@pierre: did you see Nguzunguzu? I heard Blackie and Mudhoney were great
  3:24pm
pierre:

i enjoyed that it was during the dawning, but apparently he broke his machines during the "encore" non ?
  3:25pm
pierre:

yeah i saw Nguzunguzu (cool stuff, lots of remixed pop rnb, with that reaggeton feeling) Blackie too, i didn't get to see Mudhoney.
  3:27pm
fred:

No idea about the encore. I took cover in a shaded area, so I didn't see what was going on.
Godflesh were pretty good, and The Soft Moon were just great
  3:30pm
fred:

@pierre: and to be perfectly honest, I had been lugging a bottle of pastis and one of water all afternoon to share with you, by that time I had made a dent in both
  3:33pm
pierre:

@fred : terribly sorry i wasn't here to share it with you.
  3:35pm
fred:

@pierre: don't sweat it; I had little trouble finding people to help me reduce the weight
  3:36pm
andymorphic:

sweet cover

Sandy in Houston:

listening from home for once. Hi Scott and other people!
  3:42pm
pierre:

Is is shamefull to say that i had a dream with a Scott Williams featuring ? That's the second time i dream about a wfmu dj, it's becoming worrisome…

In that dream Scott was chasing pheasant in my living room.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm
Scott W:

Hey Sandy! Hey Pierre! Hey all friends! Pierre, I'm delighted & spooked to have made it to your dreams, haha. Never chased a pheasant, but I've got 9 chickens for neighbors
  3:48pm
fred:

@pierre: you only need to worry if you dream a classic DJ nightmare, like if you dream he can't get a song started and lets dead air go on. Chasing pheasants is fine
  3:52pm
Phil Crum:

Dreams. Just finished watching Burden of Dreams, turned on FMU and heard a tune Doug S. played on Friday.
  3:53pm
pierre:

It's allright Scott, nothing weird happened. Although it's funny to notice that each time it's djs at my flat, and i'm embarrassed because i don't know what to do with the mess that's my flat. Chickens are cool, pheasant make weird noise. I think the reason is that i'm litterally tuned on wfmu 24/7, sometimes even while i'm sleeping.

And fantastic cover btw.
  4:05pm
Jeff:

Nice show today! Enjoying the sounds. 9 chickens? I'll trade you for the 2 free range roosters living around here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm
Scott W:

Thanks Jeff! You can keep the roosters
  4:26pm
Jeff:

Ugh. These 2 dudes are insufferable...

Safe travels!
  4:29pm
Gsus:

This track is beautiful!
  4:30pm

What Gsus said. Hi Scott!
  4:51pm

These beats = genius
  4:58pm
Ike:

Sounds good, Scott.

Dang, it's hot. I'm too hot to say anything more creative than that. Dang.
  5:24pm
pierre:

Michael Rother really have his very unique sound.
  5:27pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Greetings Scott and all the listeners.
  5:28pm
Sandy in Houston:

I am going for a quick walk. TTFN be back soon.

Coffee Cola:

Great memorial day show Scott--these last few tracks are fantastic!
  5:32pm
pierre:

"Un Département, Quelle Chaleur" is pretty accurate/
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:33pm
Scott W:

Thanks Coffee Cola! Bye Sandy! Explain Pierre?
  5:34pm
Looms:

Yep, I wonder if it's dedicated to Ike (title track means "it's so hot")
  5:35pm
pierre:

well, it means "a district" and the name of the track is "what a heat", and as it is pretty hot in Paris (my district) i felt the name of that musician/song was spot on
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36pm
Scott W:

Aha! Quelle froid ici
  5:38pm
pierre:

sorry to hear that, i thought the summer was beginning on the east coast.
  5:39pm
Richard from Venezuela:

American Cloud songs sounds amazing

(just freezing here on the wfmu 2nd floor)
  5:41pm
pierre:

That explain the fur coat, but not the goose. :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm
Scott W:

Richard, sad to say it's the only cut on the album that sounds like this - rest of it is White Guy Summoning Eastern Deities
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm
Scott W:

I am liking your comment Pierre!
  5:42pm
pierre:

Scott, btw, still working on that french "I can't tell when you're telling me the truth" version, hopefully it'll be done when you'll come back from Spain.
  5:46pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Sad to hear that, scott. Its a terrific track.
  5:50pm
the glowing one:

I'm so sick of these gangsta lyrics, even if they're supposed to be mocking.
  5:53pm
Animal Symbolism of the Goose:

When we consider the goose never leaves one of its own kind behind, we begin to see the goose in a different light. Just like the US Marines, "Semper Fidelis" (always faithful) is the motto of the goose too.
  5:57pm
Looms:

Nice work, Scott. Have a wonderful time in Spain!
  10:39pm
Meat Guy Stanley:

Nice way to start off your playlist! Stanley's favorite band is TIME!
