Avatar 12:40am Wm.:

Thanks. I prefer Wm. "e-Pluribus" Berger.
  12:42am blee:

Without the blues, would metal have ever come to be?
Avatar 12:43am Wm.:

Just reminding some out there, and others who may not know, that I am not merely the "black-metal and noise" dude here. Niche me, I jump! I can do ANYTHING.
  12:45am r:

This whole album is fantastic. (Thank Christ for the Bomb)
  12:46am Jim B:

Sadly but surely nothing gets less airplay than this.
  12:46am Shaqueela After Dark:

Avatar 1:00am Wm.:

Greetings, Richard. Do you know Laura, the painter's daughter? Man, did I have a teenage woody for her, back about 30 years ago.
  1:20am Richard from Venezuela:

I don't know her.
  1:20am jt:

@dw, that's a great approximation of broughton. though its been a while i recall some tracks that are also a bit more southern-fried blue cheer

and btw this sabbath track is still ridiculously awesome.

just a little bit too strong.
Avatar 1:22am Wm.:

:( ...was hoping for a play along...I didn't expect you would. Joking, mate. I was very impressed that she ate onions like apples. That's sex appeal!
  1:27am Rory:

  1:31am Rory:

This and Jimi Hendrix were the first to really get me into blues music. Great stuff Wm.
  1:42am Coffee Cola:

Just tooning in; only heard the last bit of the 'Your DJ Speaks' so I have no idea what's going on, but I'm really enjoying it.
  1:46am SteveG:

I always thought the overalls line meant he was still working on the farm on Xmas day.
Avatar 1:48am Wm.:

  2:08am Rory:

John Mayall! Thanks Wm.!
  2:10am Rory:

I heard a alot of this stuff growing up. My Dad is a Blues junkie.
Avatar 2:14am Wm.:

I'm having a great time! "The blues," so to speak, is still a lot cheerier than my usual weekly selections. It can be hard on the body doing MCoQ, hard on the psyche, so it's keen to have a "break" of sorts.
Avatar 2:17am Wm.:

MIMSY FARMER! I hear she spent Xmas in her overalls once....
  2:19am Rory:

My Dad told me he saw Led Zeppelin in '76. He said they played 3 or 4 songs and would play them for 20 minutes just making a bunch of noise so loud the seat were vibrating. I wish i could have been alive to be there.
  2:26am Shaqueela After Dark:

fabulously lurid lyrics
Avatar 2:26am Wm.:

Good ol' Van. I love this song.
  2:42am Jim B:

Just musing over how this stuff is what got me to start paying attention to music, but also how it's gone from vanguard to anathema to limbo.
  2:43am Rory:

  2:46am Marmalade kitty:

bah dum dah daaadadat dadle dooowoootledoot... dah!
  2:48am Rory:

Put a guitar in this dude's hands and real magic happens!
  2:49am Marmalade kitty:

awesome vocals by Buddy miles best heard VERY LOUD
  2:53am dw:

This is wild!! Thanks for the super blues romp Wm.!
  2:57am Marmalade kitty:

cool show Mr.Wm.
  3:00am Ken From Hyde Park:

A most excellent representation of music tonight.
  8:46am SiHV:

Friday starts grooving instead of cursing the empty void. I can dig it.
  4:03pm SiHV:

Great show Wm. I know a guy down in Philly that does a club DJ thing under the title "Riff Mountain." He loved this playlist. If you're down dattaway, look 'em up. https://www.facebook.com/riffmountain
